Clean Up Dialogue Audio [Solving Audio Problems]

Thanks! Super helpful for a sound editor just starting out 💕 quick question: would you recommend copying the original track and using izotope on that separate track in case the mixer doesn't like what I've done to it? Or is this considered standard dialogue cleanup and doesnt require the additional tracks?

Hey, as in all things like this where you are working with a team, communication is important. Have this conversation with the mixer before you begin. Most times you will be asked for a backup playlist, the prod audio unouched. Your edit would be on the main playlist. This is my typical workflow, even if I'm mixing. I always want the option to easily get back to square one.
