Hi lovely. Yes. We have a back door shoe basket. One pair of shoes allowed each. We have crocs and one son has a pair of sliders. Used the idea since they were young. Still using it now at 19,17 and 15. We currently have a grey wicker basket from the pound shop . (£5). But previously I’ve used small fabric toy baskets. However, we have astroturf so they don’t get too dirty. You might not want a cloth one with grass. X

Oh my gosh, my kitchen cupboards/cabinets are already pretty clear, at least the plates and cups and pots and pans and such -- but our spice and seasonings area is OUT. OF. CONTROL!!! My husband loves all the "kitchenalia" (haha) and on top of all the spices and seasonings (really, it's a lot!), we have a very large cabinet in the garage entirely dedicated to extra kitchen utensils, appliances, baking stuff, etc. It drives me crazy! I'm such a minimalist at heart. He is an at-home chef and HE LOVES ALL THAT STUFF so I try to remind myself that I have my own large collections, too (ahem... makeup and cleaning supplies 🥴) and he doesn't ever say a word about it to me, so I just accept it and work around it.. lol. All this cleaning motivation was very needed today, so thank you!

Super 💪. My husband teached me (university teacher 😀), that markers dry less, if you put them to jar with opening to the bottom. I cooked yesterday carbonara. Family was pleased 👩‍🍳. I think the basket for slippers it's a good idea 👍

Always love your cleaning videos and looking forward to them the most 😍 For shoes you can get one of the small shoe benches with sliding baskets on the bottom. Great for storage and a place you can sit on plus you can’t see the mess from shoes. We got one on Amazon and it’s one of the most used furniture in the house.

Hi Emily, Here is an idea for your outdoor slippers: Chose a tray of some sort or a box that is visually appealing to you and also big enough to fit everything. Then fill it with some small stones from your garden, or you can even buy some decorative white stones or volcanic rocks, whatever you like, and fill the tray with them. Then put the shoes on top! This will surve the purpose of filtering the dirt and sand through the stones and will also look nice. Hope it helps! P.S. Love your videos! Greetings from Germany! XOXOXO

I don't know if you have heard of Kimmie from Shes In Her Apron. She has a chore chart and zone cleaning system she uses for her household. Everyone is responsible for an area and a job in the house. This way she is not the only person in the house cleaning. I have two toddler grandchildren and they help me so much in the house. I teach them to clean up as they go too every day after play time.

I've tried different baskets and shoe shelves over the years, they all tended to start to look grubby and especially using them for wet shoes in and out of house, brain wave one day, watching emily doing her car,, why not just use a boot liner, i have a back porch so its perfect out of the way and the floor stays dry, no dripping wet shoes, 🤗🤗🤗

Hi Emily - I know you mentioned recently you were having some hormone issues and I just wanted to point you in the direction of Maisie Hill’s book ‘Period Power’. It’s fascinating and so informative, although there is quite a lot in there! I’m listening to the audio version, which seems more digestible for me. I’d also recommend Maisie’s conversation on the Deliciously Ella podcast (the episode is called ‘Period Power’) as a good starting point. At nearly 38, it’s made me realise how little I know about my own body! I think you’d get a lot from it x
