Good Morning! So I left out the sun room as one of the rooms that I wanted to makeover because the sunroom actually leaks when there’s heavy rain so we are gonna address that next year. I will say I started decluttering the laundry room already and there are so many clothes and trash! Lol feeling good getting it done. What are you up to this weekend?

We cooked with it and I hadn’t realized ti season it. I literally read no directions because we bought it to make a dinner and now it has a bit of rust we have to remove and then season it.

Here in Russia we only use duvet covers instead of blankets. Everyone hates to change them 😁😁😁 Try to put the duvet on the bed, then put the duvet cover (supposed to be inside out) over it, put together two of the matching angles of the duvet and duvet cover and hold them from "inside", which is the actual main side, and make a "reverse" inside out. Then the other two angles will be put on their places easier. The algorithm is so simple in my head but hard to explain 😁😁😁 Same trick works well with pillows)

That’s the method I used here. Have them layer out together and roll them up but mine messed up because the opening doesn’t go along the whole cover I had to stuff it in and then it got all mashed inside making it harder to unroll them together properly

I love organizing areas that are really cluttered. Can’t wait for your declutter video of the storage room and the office. Man I wish I could get in there with you and organize. I suffer from OCD so organizing tames the OCD beasts in me.

Spatchcock your turkey. It turns out so much better without a lot of fuss. I cut the backbone out on Mon. or Tue. and leave the uncovered salt and peppered turkey in the fridge for a few days. Chefs do this, and the turkey just has to be slipped into the oven for 2-3 hours. Done. I then have the neck and backbone to make meat and broth for the stuffing. The more I can get done early the better. But seriously spatchcock. Food Theory even did a video on it.

Love this! We are not huge turkey fans and I would like to make more to eat less beef and I just told my husband James spatchcocking the bird is what I was gonna try for my first one. It seems like we would like it more and I want it to turn out! I didn’t hear about refrigerating it prepped before hand and that is a great idea. 💡 I’m going to be trying to prepare the sage sausage stuffing this year. I would love to make a second turkey dinner in spring so Wish me luck!

@@MomLikely I have also used the turkey back and neck for gravy too. Leaving uncovered drys out the skin, which makes a kind of shell. I was leery at first, but I do it every time now. Besides the space the turkey took up for all those days is empty now for all the leftovers. Oh, I do oil it first when I season it. I also cook it at a higher temp for a while then turn it down for the rest. Helps that skin. Spatchcocking allows the turkey to cook faster at a more even rate. This way the dark meat is done at the same rate as the white. Therefore the white meat is not dry. I cook it on a rack it onion and things under it. Helps flavor and makes the drippings taste good. You also want the turkey to sit off the wetness. When I didn’t have a “like a cooling” rack I think I used food to keep a turkey elevated.
@MomLikely2 ай бұрын
@thewhatsup thank you much! That’s exactly what I’m going to do. I have one oversized baking sheet and it fortunately has a matching rack. I’m gonna layer veggies, cooking rack, then turkey. So for the skin outside do you add oil or butter again once you remove it from the fridge to cook? I know I keep seeing butter for regular turkeys, so what have you done while cooking?
@thewhatsup2 ай бұрын
@@MomLikely I now spray avocado oil on before the fridge. Butter was just too messy, so I started switching over. I forgot the funnest part. My kids love it. Since I do all this in a well washed sink, you poor boiling water over all the turkey after I spatchcock it. The skin shrinks. So much fun to watch. It just makes it look professional after cooking.
@thewhatsup2 ай бұрын
@@MomLikely as for the turkey I want everything done with in that Mon. or Tue. On Thanksgiving I just largely chop some veggies put them under the rack on top of the foil, throw it in the oven. Oil and season already on it. I do put an oversized foil on the baking sheet just so the turkey doesn’t touch or get touched so easily on the sides.

I just have question why does every room get so messy if you have a TV room and a family room would be easier on you if everyone would stay in one room you have a large home can get overwhelmed with so much I remember growing up going to my aunts house every Saturday the girls had a room to clean that met all rugs removed dust vacuum and mop didn't take long for clean house

We just go wherever. The living room by the kitchen is used most. The dogs there up the family room and the basement we have 5-10 people down there when we have guests, usually many kids also.
