Just a little tip, don't use fabric conditioner on your microfibre cloths, and even towels. It stops the fibres of the cloths working properly. And for towels just use a bit of white vinegar as the tumbler will fluff them up anyway 😊 x

Vinegar and baking soda is a great natural disinfectant for so many things. I'm trying to eliminate chemicals as much as possible. It works so well with towels like you said! :)

I recently found out dryer sheets make towels not as absorbent as they should be. I dont use them anymore on towels.

@@Marebear1113 yes anything like that will. I'm a hairstylist so been laundering towels for 36 years and they will definitely be more absorbent without those sort of products. Even though they all do smell lush.

I am 42 & I am a massive advocate for softener. I cannot tolerate rough towels even if they do dry you quicker. I do my exfoliating in the bath, not with my towel 🤣 It is all about the senses for me & I adore the smell 😉 xxxx

Another way to clean velvet headboards is to use a hot damp cloth. Spread it out and draw it towards you (one direction) over the fabric. Picks up everything really quickly, and leaves it all smelling lovely if you use a drop of something in the water. Works great on sofas and chairs too 🥰🥰🥰

The nesting 1/2/3 days before you go into labour is unreal! With my first I took all the curtains down and washed them and put them back up (rest of the house had been cleaned every other day from when I had gone on maty leave eight weeks prior); with the second, I rearranged my entire living room ... moving sofa, chairs and a very heavy oak cabinet (whilst all the time thinking “not sure I should be doing this”), cleared and cleaned the bathroom and kitchen. I wasn’t on maty leave at this stage either .... should’ve realised but didn’t cross my mind as due date was five weeks away! Labour started twelve hours later. As I say, it’s an unreal compulsion. 😂

Wow! No wonder you get through so much fabric conditioner. I’ve never used more than half a cup of it as it’s a highly concentrated formula! Do LOVE the smell of it though 😉 Just a little tip for you - when dusting work top to bottom. So start with the ceiling/lampshades and work down. That way you won’t get dust falling onto surfaces you’ve just cleaned ☺️

Hi hello, sad American here! We do not have nearly as many good cleaning products as you guys -like Leonor isn’t a thing…minkies… or zoflora! Can you believe that!! The fridge has the most germs I use wipes every day especially where our hands have been I wipe everything down b4 it goes in fridge the next is tv control and phone with 10 parts poo Then it’s your door bell and doors and handles I use zoflora on all my doors and kitchen cubard. I bleach my tops sinks and toilet then zoflora

Quick tip, your washing machine and tumble dryer doors should be able to swap sides so they open the opposite way, you should try it out, would make it so much easier transferring washing without the doors in the way! 🥰
