i have moved to england finally for university after wanting to since i was 10 and also moved in with my boyfriend that we’ve been doing long distance for 4 years with finally!! it’s been an emotional rollercoaster so i can’t even explain how excited and safe your videos make me. it feels like a (very needed) warm and cosy hug. hence the moving i haven’t been watching youtube much but oh gemma, i’ve missed you!!! xxx have the cosiest day, everyone who’s reading this.

Love the video! 💙I will say that the fabric softener should go in the middle section, the right hand side section is for a "pre-wash" detergent 😊

Gem, I've noticed over the years you put your softner in the wrong compartment in the machine. Pop it in the middle tray, the one with the blue grid and it won't dispense it until the end of the wash. Will make your laundry smell way better 🥰

@@Anna-ic1sf putting in that compartment will rinse it straight out. When you put it in the blue drawer it adds the softner at the very end before spinning meaning your clothes will smell lovely. You'll notice a massive difference 🙂

Yep agree with this I was doing it up until a couple of years ago the first compartment is for actual washing stuff or washing powder the middle is for the fabric softener and I believe the 3rd one is for a pre wash, I was amazed when I was told this 🤣

I am 60 and I just have to say putting the softener in that compartment you may as well pour it down the sink as it gets rinsed out straight away. Put it in the middle section and your washing will smell of the softener

Love a good clean video, your home is so lovely, one thing i noticed you put the fabric conditioner in the far right, i think it should go in the middles where that blue thing is, that way the conditioner stay till the cycle takes it, the right hand section the conditioner will just go straight into the machine i think that is for prewash, xx

At the start-ish of Fall (October 1) and the start-ish of Spring (April 1) I do the switch. Turn the mattress, switch the chaise part of the couch to the opposite side. The Spring and Summer decor (pink/blush coloured throws and pillows) gets put away. The Fall and winter decor (mustard coloured throws and pillows) come out. FYI, on a good homemade cleaner special.y for the tub, toilet, sink … two thirds a cup of vinegar and one third a cup of Dawn dish soap in a spray bottle. Sparkle, sparkle, sparkle!✨ Best, best way to get dust AND CAT HAIR off of fabric is a good old fashioned rapper glove. Just put on the glove and wipe it over the “hairy/fuzzy” surface.

Hey just a tip, you should use a reusable clothes duster that have the red grip fabric, works better than a sticky roller and you don't have to buy more rolling tape, you just push the dirt off the red fabric and it's good as new, mine is almost 30 years old and it still work fabulously

You should try washing glass surfaces with a mixture of water (about 80%) and fabric softener (20%). You will be AMAZED. The shine is incredible! It cannot compare to any glass/window cleaning product I ever used.
