I love how everything looks! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and sometimes it gets overlooked because everyone jumps straight to Christmas (which I love too). I think it’s perfect how you decorated. It’s simple and just enough. I have the Christ picture with the children too...I love it.

Christmas is my fav to decorate for .My children are all grown with families of their own,most live out of state so I don’t feel the need to do other holidays but Christmas,well. It’s taken me two days to finish this .. crazy schedule lol .. so glad to see some things for thanksgiving!! I’m anxious to decorate for Christmas but also wanted my few fall thanksgiving things out!! Our outside is where most of our Halloween decor is. I was able to transition the Halloween inside to fall Thanksgiving easy. Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for sharing!!

Oh goodness Kimmie I was so sad when I saw that window pane in the corner with things that you were going to donate, but quickly smiled to see you are keeping it. I looks so nice in the corner. I had to laugh cause I was like you when I would go over board decorating for all the holidays when my kids were small and I also felt I had to give each holiday it's equal time, lol. Now I just add a small amount for each holiday, my main decor is Christmas I still go nuts with decor and it gets the longest display time. I don't decorate for Halloween. I used to when the kids were little, but not anymore! We do pass out candy to the neighborhood kids (approx 20 come to our house). HOWEVER! I've been without a kitchen sink and dishwasher since Friday (the day after Halloween) until approx 7 pm Monday night (when the plumber left) We had a clogged pipe to end all clogged pipes! OY! So I've been doing my dishes in the bathtub and in the 1/2 bath! I didn't feel like doing much else in the house! So now...I do need to go through and dust and vacuum and def give my main bath a good cleaning (now that it isn't the '2nd kitchen' lol!). I'm feeling ya Kimmy!

I love the scented brooms and pine cones, but they lose their smell quickly. I just sprinkle some cinnamon oil (the kind you use for baking and hard candy) on them and it smells so good again!
