I honestly don’t care one way or another what type of video you put out. You provide more genuine and realistic videos, and I really like how authentic you are. As far as books go, I enjoy hearing about a good book. I can’t imagine being in your shoes having people be inconsiderate, that has to be hard. Just know that you aren’t the only one they are probably being that way to, I imagine they are that way with everyone that tries to provide a service for them. Funny enough, we lived in Knoxville in a split foyer as well! We only stayed 9 years, then moved to FL. We were in the Farragut area. One thing I'll say on your design idea is maybe rethink the W/D upstairs in your hallway. Laundry gets worse as the kids age, (unreal, I know!) and being in the hall, it really gives you no room. Plus, it's noisy. And if you ever have a leak or failure... It's awful! We wanted ours upstairs, but quickly changed our minds after seeing one floor the first and second floor! So instead, we added a laundry chute into a renovated area downstairs. I hated the stairs, but in the end it was better than the hallway and missing that storage. Just a thought. On the way your channel is going... Just do you. Most know that things and situations change and we're good with that. I know I've enjoyed it all. Even though I don't really read the same books, it's interesting to hear your thoughts on them. I'd say the majority of us that are here is because we enjoy your personality, drive, and passion for your home and family. 💚

Voting is sooo important. I am german and have voted in every election since I was allowed to. Obviously elections are soo different but we have a saying: “Wahlrecht ist Wahlpflicht” which means “the right to vote is the duty to vote” especially as a German with our history. In my early mom days we had a routine that the kids would help me clean up their toys right before nap time. Either right before lunch or right after. It was a nice transition to nap time. As my second got older it got harder. I’ve since realized I think it because of the complete different personalities of my boys. My first doesn’t make huge messes and is completely cooperative with cleaning up quickly. My second will pull everything out and leave half of it on the floor untouched and he gets so overwhelmed cleaning up, no matter how toys are out. And I definitely declutter often. I really think it’s just personality. But I really do miss those days of routinely cleaning up before nap time. Now my oldest is in 1st grade and I’m home with 2nd and 3rd. We definitely do not clean up the toys as much as I’d like. They all get cleaned up before bedtime, but for nap time I usually just leave them and try to move on to whatever else I want to take care of.

Allison, I'm so sorry they hurt your feelings. Not everyone learned if you can't say anything nice don't say anything. I enjoy all your videos, and you talk fast, that is me I talk fast. When my husband and I first started dating he was amazed that I talked fast he wanted to know when I would breathe. Your still young and I think you do a great job with all the things you do. Your energy is great. I only had one child, and I was 34 when she was born. I had cancer 4 years before she was born. So, I never had energy when she was born. She is now your age. I think you should be yourself; you are wonderful made. God made you the way you are. Don't change just be you. They don't like it then they don't have to watch. Have a good rest of your week.
