Your channel just came through my news feed and have been binge watching episodes and I love what I see. I then saw your first video on how 1880 came to be in your channel name. Now I'm even more impressed with all your family and friends that have come together in creating your channel in2023/2024. God bless you all and thankyou for sharing your journey.🙂

I just found your channel. I’ve worked in surgery for 27 years. I found your videos very informative and educational. I thought you were very gentle with the cows. And did a fantastic job. I’m going to binge watch some of your videos.❤

Been there, done that. Definitely a smelly job. The only thing worse is pulling a dead calf out of them in pieces, because it died inside them and rotted. I actually asked my girlfriend to marry me after we had completed a job like that. I figured if she could stick with it and help me do that until the job was completed, she was a keeper, lol. Great show fellas! Have a great week.

I’m learning so much I can’t thank y’all enough. Loving your channel and all the great information! I’m wondering if you should have flushed that mama out with water or some kind of medicine fluid to make sure all that old blood was flushed out. About 85 years ago my maternal grandmother died from a bacterial infection a few days after giving birth to my uncle on the creek Reservation in Florida. A doctor or hospital visit would have saved her life. 20 years ago in Montana. My husband got a bacterial blood infection from losing a filling in a tooth and he never had it replaced. Several years later, the blood infection traveled from his tooth to his brain, and even ate away the flapper in his aortic heart valve That led to having heart surgery and a stay in ICU.

I’m catching up on your videos. I thought you had gone on break or something. I have my notifications on and subbed so I don’t know what’s going on. I turned it off and put it back on hopefully that will work. Do you ever find arrowheads around there? I’m so glad you caught those cows. Otherwise the calves probably would’ve died too. Oh wow I had no idea that was how that was done. Did you insert the antibiotic in the 2nd cow. I didn’t see that. Thank you for allowing us to see your day.

Something weird is going on because I had to do the same thing last week. Thank you for watching and catching up. Yes we find arrowheads and lots of pottery, we love looking at history and wonder who those people were. And yes, I put 2 antibiotic pills in her.

When you take a skinny/thin cow back to fatten her back up, where do you take her? Back to your ranch? What does it look like? Regular grass pastures? We never see where you take them. What do you fees the thin ones?
@1880cowboys8 ай бұрын
Hi, we take them into the barn and fields where we keep the other cows and horses. We just feed them regular alfalfa hay. We usually keep them at the barn for a few weeks and then take them back out. This time of year we are waiting on the green grass. It is the hardest time of year for these mother cows. When the green comes, they bounce right back. Thanks for your questions and thank you for watching.
