How do you clean a headstone with D 2? Scrub the surface thoroughly with a soft-bristle brush and allow the D/2 to remain on the surface of the stone for 1 to 2 minutes (up to 10 minutes for optimal action when there is heavy growth). Then apply additional D/2 to maintain a wet surface. Lightly mist with water and continue light scrubbing. D2 cleaner it great for cleaning headstones, well done x

You two done a great job. A deep respect to honor your kin. There are so many small cemeteries that needs care where I live. One where some of my dad's decendents were buried was just plowed over so timber could be cut. No respect for those buried there. Thanks for showing a caring respect.

What a good heart you both have. That’s lots of work. Thank goodness for lunch. Adds a little fuel to go, go, and go again. Thanks for the interesting videos. I have a friend that lives in Tazwell, TN. She doesn’t know it yet but I’m hoping to come down that way next spring. I keep wondering if any of this history is close to Tazwell. Guess I’ll find out. But there’s history everywhere.

You guys are good, you are very good! The cemetery looks much better! Even the headstones look better. May I ask, at the risk of asking a stupid question, why are there small wooden crosses behind Frank and Nancy's headstones? Interesting story about Frank's leg. Thank you very much for another great video, Have a great day.

Im not sure who added the crosses, I think its just for looks maybe, but good question and ty!

It's interesting to see relatives who cares. I try to visit the cemeteries of my ancestors, buried in family cemeteries and clean them up. I just can't do as much as I used to do.

You should spray D2 Solution Headstone Cleaner on the headstone. It will make it look like new.

I know that the Hatfeilds and McCoys intermarried. Do you all know if Randall and Devil Anse were distantly related?
@thehillbillyfiles2 жыл бұрын
Im not sure, but we keep finding very close ties between the two honestly. So I wouldn't be surprised. The area was settled by certain families and they all reproduced at very high rates, so its crazy when you start looking at the family lines. It is all blurred at many many points.

Great job guys. Check out sidestep adventures. He's a guy in Georgia that revamps old cemeteries. He's gotta eco friendly degreaser to clean the old stones with. U can get at Lowes. May help bring more lettering out in bad Frank's marker
