Regarding packing cubes, you really don't need to buy them. I save all my clear plastic cubes that sheets, pillow cases and other linens and stuff come in. They are really good quality plastic and they are clear, which lets you see what's inside. An added bonus is that you don't have to buy them!

I agree with the skrpr scraping tool. I have had a pair since 2011 - I used to keep the mini on my key ring and have used it as a screwdriver in a pinch. Worst cleaning product I've tried is the Swedish dish cloth. Completely pointless, they come nice and flat and dry warped so they dont store well. You can only use them wet so they are not like paper towels at all and they streak. Not sure what the fuss is all about with those. One of the best cleaning products I've used is the Shark handheld cordless vacuum.

Best cleaning tool I've bought on Amazon was my Dyson vacuum, but the best cleaning tool I've bought online is that Maker's Clean scrubby cloth that's clothy on one side and scrubby on the other. I only vacuum once or twice a week but I use that scrubby all day every day. Worst Amazon buy was an under-sink organizer caddy that turned out to be half the size shown in the photo. It would have been fine if I lived in a dwarf's house, but I don't.

I love these suggestions and am proud to say I have a couple of them that you recommended in other videos! I especially liked hearing about the things to steer away from. 😱 One of the best tools I found on Amazon is the Chom Chom pet hair remover. This thing is amazing on furniture, but it also gets to those areas of rugs and carpet that you can't get the vacuum into (e.g., corner of the stairs). I have a Golden Retriever and a Bernese Mountain dog--I know pet hair! I didn't know about the microfiber dusters though. Alas, Maker's Clean doesn't have one, but I am buying one. I tried to do away with swiffers, then I had the broken glass situation. Uhg! That's what disposable cloths are for! So, I got swiffers again, but if it's not an emergency, I used microfiber cloths instead of the disposable ones. I had a rubbermaid mop, then I lost a gasket or something, and it wasn't replaceable at that point ☹️ I replaced that mop with a similar mop, but next time this happens, I'm just gonna use a spray bottle, or maybe I'll do a bucket full of microfiber cloths and go with the Swiffer duster to do that. I am quite tired of the mop situation, lol! Got a couple spin mops, and they get tangled ☹️ So, I guess I've entered the microfiber era of things😂 Edit: I must add I use my swiffer also to clean mirrors and windows. Obviously, you don't have to use swiffer. Got mine before I got to this channel. Just saying, the style is useful 👍👍👍

Oh my gosh, I taught sex ed to high schoolers as part of health science classes, and I saw her speak at a conference in DC. Until today I had forgotten about her! She was so sensible and inspiring! A few years later, in the 70s, our local Maryland school district put new restrictions on what we could teach every year. We couldn't show facsimiles of birth control devices, for example. Even pregnant students and those who already had babies had to get a signed permission slip before they could take my class. I finally left teaching because the list of what I couldn't teach became longer than the list of what I could teach. During this time a teacher who became pregnant had to quit teaching when the pregnancy became obvious, and was not guaranteed reinstatement after giving birth. Sadly, the anti-fact forces are still at it over half a century later.b

The only one that I don't agree with is the toilet bowl cleaner. 😅 I previously thought the same way about them, but realized I had such high levels of feeling the need to vomit when cleaning with a regular brush. 🤢 I have sensory issues & the idea of cleaning my toilet had me to the point of almost getting in a haz-mat suit just to clean the toilet. I resisted getting that thing for so long, then I realized the only thing that would get me to actually clean the toilet without vomiting or passing out was to use something that immediately went in the trash, otherwise it wouldn't get done. 😬 It actually works pretty well on my toilet, and I love it.

I would like to use plein light grey ones like my kitchen is. Or white ones or beige. But no patterns or no red, orange, green, purple or blue vibrant colors. That screems ,plastic’ or ,artificial’ to me. Yes, this shouldn’t matter when the quality is there but to me it does. Make some easy neutral options and please do international shipping to Italy … so I will be your customer. 😊
