2015 and newer do not run off a MAF. They run off of MAP sensors.

Even for EcoBoost engines? I was aware of this for the 5.0’s, but that’s all I try and learn about since it’s the engine that’s in my truck.

@@leo-ub6nb in the F150 line up there is no EcoBoost with a MAF sensor. They all run on Manifold Pressure. MAF is just outdated.

I’ve done this before and cleaned my sensors multiple times but forgot about it and this video reminded me to do it so I did it tonight then my truck went into limp mode after and is throwing a check engine light for the sensors. I took everything apart and put it together again (this is all in the pitch black with a flashlight that I couldn’t mount) and it’s no longer in limp mode and seems to be driving fine, just has the check engine light on still. I have to drive almost 200 miles tomorrow so we’ll see lol

Hopefully it’s just a lil glitch from removing. Maybe unplug battery

lol That was me that sent you that link, My truck isn't lifted yet and I had to get it to check the oil and stuff. But that stool folds up flat to where you can easily slide under your seat to always have it. Its also height adjustable. Comes in handy.

When my check engine light comes on, I clean the throttle body. You might want to check that it can build up a lot of carbon.
