Look into purchasing an air cleaner - they really do help with dust problems. Also, contact maintenance in your building and ask them to change the filter in your AC. That will also help with dust.

Food for thought, when cleaning start from the floor. Sweep first, vacuum and then mop. When sweeping you move the non visible dust around landing on the surfaces you've dusted making it feel like you've not dusted.

Charlotte, why not get a vacuum seal bag for all the blankets and comforters you have. Once you do that they will stack nicely on your bedroom shelf. Just a thought! Your apartment looks great. Hang in there and get it done.

Air purifiers are a definite must, especially since you live in the city. As long as you know the square feet of your apartment, you will know the size to get. If you do get one, go ahead and order an extra filter to save a headache. You're going to be shocked how dirty the filter will be when it's time to change it. I always am with mine.

Hi Charlotte, vacuum pack seal bags are great for packing away extra pillows and duvets 😊. Also, maybe start cleaning from the top to bottom , ceiling to floor, I do it, and it works wonders ❤. Love your vlogs. 😊

Off topic; look into getting you a rice cooker that way you can just put it on, and it stops on its own, giving you perfect rice every time. I'm so proud of your progress, since your big move.

Loved the video! Your apartment looks great! I’ve been struggling with depression/anxiety lately, so keeping my home,(3 bdrm,2 ba) has been tough, and it’s just me and my pooch. This helped motivate me a little more. Never been to Shake Shack but I heard it’s really good. Hope you enjoyed your movie 🍿

Your apartment is so cute! You should probably be using some type of furniture polish on your wood furniture. It would condition and help it to last longer and also repel dust longer. Just a suggestion.

Vacuum bags for the linen. I was able to fit large comforters in a small compact area. As for mopping, swiffer is mean to be for in between your mop days. IT DOES NOT MOP. Boil water, you can use floor cleaner or you can use vinegar and lemon. And with piping hot boiling water, use a regular mop or spin mop. Then have a raggedy towel and towel dry the floor. Your floors will be so clean. This is how ethnic people do this. Latinos, Indians, Africans, etc. (honestly, we have a “mopping broom” and we use the boiling water and scrub the floors with the broom and then dry it with the towel. But that’s super old school) I do a real mop once a week. I swiffer on the random Tuesday or Thursday when my floors feel gross in between mop day. I vacuum 3-4 times a week after work. It takes me 20 mins. I have a 3 bedroom house.

Also, change the filter for your AC. The AC filter is what catches the dust. Like in an air purifier. Your filter is very likely done. It should be changed every 1-3 months depending how much you use it and how big your space is.

Air purifier also helps with the dust and really does impact your health positively. I have asthma. Evite the purifier, I had asthma attacks weekly. Now I have about 3 a year.

This is the second vlog involving cleaning the toilet (Keegan Acton was the first) I have watched this evening. It's usually recommended most heating and air conditioning filters be changed every few months, I change mine when the seasons do so it's easier to remember.

I use swifter wet jet so it has the spray also. for me I don’t feel it worth it to buy an actual mob since my apartment is carpet except kitchen area and bathroom. So I use my vacuum way more often than the swifter.

use a cloth to clean the tables, kitchen... if you use tissue papers you are going to waste a lot and it is also very uncomfortable
