You would hate our home then. As we clean daily--it never has time to get really DIRTY. Same thing my mom always did. Kept the kitchen and baths company readt. Bedrooms always done--and tables always clean. Not that difficult nor time consuming,even with our 5 chihuahua's.

Why MUST you throw that in? Ever think there was a reason she was doing it all? Perhaps her kids where in school for long hours and the bus trip added even more time. That her husband was the ONLY one working outside the home,so her doing THIS--instead of also dumping it on him,WAS a way to take some of the load OFF of him? The few years I was a stay at home mom--all 3 of them--it never bothered me at ALL to do the majority of the household chores. My husband drove 3 hours each day,and worked a 10 hour shift. Our youngest was still st home-the older two--then 6 and 9 only cleaned their own rooms. While Dad did the yard on weekends--if I had not done it. Not as if I EVER let my home get messed up in the first place. When I wanted alone time? I grabbed the iron and ironing board-turned up the music as loud as I wished. They all disappeared. Everyone is grown and parents now---I would so LOVE to be cleaning for them once more. That time went by way to quickly.

@pegasusgalaxy68 I’m sorry but it’s not meant to be a death trap either.. I can’t imagine when this place was last tidied ( hesitate to use the word ‘clean’). There’s stuff everywhere and animals crawling all over the stuff... I struggle with being naturally a messy person, but I was nearly vomiting watching this video. I don’t want to take away from the woman that she made an effort, but it’s obvious it’s a very rare occurrence and so it’s doubly great that she tried, but that was hardly ‘cleaning’. I would hate to think what is behind that clutter on the benches in the kitchen. There’s no way she removes that crap every day and cleans underneath. Actually it’s obvious that she needs help understanding what cleaning actually is... I was truly disturbed thinking there might be children in this environment, and the animals.. ugh!.. and have two inside dogs, but because of this, I have to fight with myself to reduce the clutter and mess daily. I DO understand, but this is really disgusting...

Great video, great job tackling it... People have the amount of stuff they want and need at the time, some more plentiful, some more minimal. We have different likes, needs, and situations. It is a person's choice how much, and what they want to do with it. If you are moved to have abundance, or minimalism, that is your choice, and your choice to maintain or reduce. Inspiring video.

I try to only make positive comments, but REALLY! I think maybe you might have needed a mask In order to enter the room.... that litter box had A LOT of doo doo in it... I love animals, but I feel sick that people have animals inside and leave faeces for days ( looks like more than a week)... I’m sorry, but those I the kind of people that say ‘ my house doesn’t smell of animals’ , but it’s so bad that you always refuse their ( kind) invitation to coffee at their house because you are scared you will vomit. I have a sweet friend I’ve been dropping hints to for years about the filth, unsuccessfully. Now I just suggest we meet at a coffee shop if she offers... omg! I CANT I see all of that crap!

@Melodius , I struggled with reducing clutter for years, so I really understand. We had our furniture stolen whilst on holidays a few years ago. A lightbulb moment! We could only afford to replace the essential. ITS SO EASY TO KEEP CLEAN when there’s less ‘stuff’... just a hint though.....there’s no way you move all of that stuff from your kitchen benches every day to clean them. You will be SHOCKED. At what that clutter is hiding in the kitchen...... where you are preparing FOOD!.. if there’s nothing on the benches, it’s a quick wipe down after prepping food and your kitchen will look and ACTUALLY BE CLEAN... that clutter is a breeding ground for disease, and is way more work to deal with than you or anyone needs. Toss it, and just think of what you can do with the time you save...
