Great video. I recently did mine. All pilot jets were gummed up after leaving the bike with fuel in it for 8 months without running. Worth cleaning the choke feed pipe in the float chamber, it’s next to the main jet. That was blocked on all 4 carbs too

Pro tip for folks wanting to do this - get yourself a #2 JIS type screwdriver (Vessel or Hozan brands) Those screws are NOT Phillips and your regular screwdrivers are likely to strip them out. Good video!

The tube in the center that the jet screws into are you suppose to be able to see thru the center of it?

How did you adjust the jet screws? Some say 2 and a half or 3 turns counter clock?

I have two little O rings for each cylinder. One bigger than the other. Where do these go? I didn't notice them when I first took it apart

Is the hole on the pilot jet supposed to go all the way through?

Usually causes blocked Jets which often makes a cylinder misfire or cause 1 or more cylinders to stop running completely. If running rough and down on power the carbs are almost always where I will start, along with the basic stuff like vacuum leaks and air filter

Hey I just finished disassembling my ‘01 YZF600R I recently bought and I found 1 of the float Needles is damaged on the rubber tip. Do you know where I can get new float needles?

Great video thanks, like the sound track and the pointers as your going. Need to strip and clean mine but might try the Redex treatment 1st. Is that a deep fat fryer your using to clean the parts up with? ;-)

HAHA they look like one dont they. Ive never really had much luck with additives, from what ive herd they are intended more as a preventative measure more then a fix. Tried a few.....hmmmm maybe i should get some dirty old carbs and do a before and after test....see if the stuff works.
