Hi Chris and Christine !!. A great variety of interesting, expensive and some ordinary but useful items. 👍

One thing we are not short of Alex, is variety! Christine says hi! 😊👍

Gee, there are some nice items in that lot. I've never seen or heard of the magic brick before, awesome. Also those Primus stoves are great, I have a couple of old kerosene pressure ones that I use in the shed to make my own paste wax. Cheers, Chris. 😊

Thanks Ross, yeah - for a shed that had mostly been cleaned out, there was some pretty cool things still left in there! 😃👍

Coco! ❤❤❤ Good to see you and Christine having a barrel of fun together. 😀 That was an interesting haul. A nice rubber mat for the shed, those are not cheap. I nearly had a heart attack when I thought you were taking it to the tip!

Haha, no need to call your cardiologist Dee! It is a bit damaged but still useable 👍 Coco says Hi 🐶😃

That two burner gas stove brings back many memories of camping holidays . And you are correct about those hoses leaking. Ours even caught fire once!

Yep, you can't trust old gas hoses John! 😱

The Magic Brick is cool. (No pun intended). I have never seen anything similar.

I've seen older Willow ones with a tartan pattern on the steel can - but not a Magic Brick one! It is very cool, even at room temperature! 🤣

I thought for sure, you'd surprise Christine with a fondue picnic to use up the gas and test your camping cooker 🙂
@TheUltimateRecycler8 ай бұрын
Haha - a fondue is very unlikely Martin! I have cooked a good steak on the back of a road sign before though.. 😂😂

Magic brick I remember my granny had one back in the 70s. Isn't that wallpaper trough missing a piece of metal? I sure I remember thin bar across the middle and wallpaper would be fed under it. Cheers Graham.
@melissakingsley-smith27678 ай бұрын
yes,they do have a piece of metal,i have one here 😊....

You are correct about the wallpaper trough

There's a skill that has died with the passing of time! Yes Graham, a metal bar does make sense! I have never wallpapered!

@@theaussienurseflipper.8113 My parents did some with pretty good results, including one of those photographic nature scenes that covers one wall of a room.

Hope you can do a salvage on the shed. Maybe some bottles under the floorboards? 👍😁

Hi Coco... The legs would be useful to someone. The old Primus stoves were a top design. I don't remember having one but I knew exactly how it folded out and how the gas knobs screwed out. Old age? 🤔
@TheUltimateRecycler8 ай бұрын
Surely not old age Dave. More likely Primus just an intuitive design! 😉 Coco says hi back! 🐶

I father had one of the stud finders and it was useless.

The one designed by Electronics Australia and sold as a kit by Dick Smith and others worked well. It measured the capacitance of the wall.
@TheUltimateRecycler8 ай бұрын
I've never had much success with them - often get confusing signals! Maybe I should have used a better quality one - or built the Dick Smith one! Thanks guys for the comments! 😊👍
