Hey people! Thank you guys so much for watching me cleaning out my closet! haha It's not exactly spring cleaning time, but I think it is one of my new years resolutions to organize my life again. But really it's just time to get rid of some old clothes that don't fit me any more / don't look good / are sooo old! haha
So thank you for hanging out with me while I tackle cleaning my closet!

For stains use lestiol. It is only available in grocery stores. It doesn't smell great but the smell disappears when you dry the clothes. The bottle last forever. Just a little on the spot, rub it in and it disappears.

That was hilarious! One thing that may help is when you wear an item and hang it back up, turn the hanger the other way around so you know what you like wearing. Anything turned the other way you can get rid of after six months.

I 'organized' my closet last year. I put the 'donate/toss' in baskets. The baskets are still in my closet. I never got the 'toss/donate' stuff in to bags. You guessed it! I caught myself digging through those baskets of discards the other day and talking myself out of getting rid of them! Hahaha!

I’m going to make vacation plans to travel from Texas to Florida to help you organize that closet!!! And turn all those inside out clothes right side out lol I can’t handle that in my own closet! I’ll bring my cameo and we can make labels for totes to line nicely along the shelves lol and you can totally just live in work out clothes, I do, and I don’t even work out haha. Those that matter won’t mind and those that mind don’t matter.

Lindsey Loved I thought the same thing as you! Fly my out from California and I'll help you clean out your closet! Inside out clothes on hangers make my OCD go haywire. If you haven't worn it in the last year---get rid of it!!! (except maternity) But I loved watching this because I love your personality. P.S. You need to donate the Titanic jacket!!!

Betsy Johnson I’m in the same boat as Kim when it comes to tossing stuff though, I’ve been in the situation too many times where I finally tossed something then literally like 2 days later I NEED it! Lol If she tosses the Titanic coat won’t ya know it, the girls will wanna be the cast of the Titanic for Halloween and she’ll have to go out and look for a new coat and not be able to find one lol I do toss stuff all the time but only because I don’t have the space to store it!

I’ve been using dawn dish soap on stains in my kids cloths right after they happen. My grandmother sweared by dish soap, peroxide, and water mixed says it even gets stains out that have been around for ever. But from what I understand once you put a stained item in the dryer it’s set in stone.

“Are you good at things?” 😂 I’ll watch whatever you post because you’re just so funny! My recommendation to you would be to purge your closet again in April. Write in your planner and spend an hour to go through and see if there’s anything else you want to get rid of while this last purge is still somewhat fresh in your mind. I purge constantly and when I go back through areas (like my closet) I’m more ruthless the second time because I see that shirt that I kept yet never wore 🙄 It’s gotten to the point where I just spend 5 minutes and pull a few things out because clearly I’ll just never wear them.

in the spring, costco sells these nice skirts that slip on. They are stretchy material, but loose. Look A line to me...and they have shorts built in underneath. I love them. And in Canada they go for 10 bucks. A steal!! They are sold in May in Canada.

The TITANIC!!! Lmao 😂 I'm in Tampa and I literally have no coats or decent jackets let's just say I'm dying this week but like I refuse to buy something I'll wear a few days a year! I'm like I can RUN 🏃 from my car to the house I'm good with no heavy jacket! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Stains are proof you have kids. Also, try a pretty kitchen apron for cooking. I ruin a lot of my stuff in the kitchen, mainly spatters.

Hey Kim!! You did a great job!! That dress you were asking about, looks like an 8. I couldn’t tell you where to find an A-line skirt like you want, because I don’t wear skirts, LOL. If I had to guess, maybe somewhere like Macy’s, Kohl’s or a department store like that. Hope you are having a good day!

Oh you and I are soul sisters. I have such a hard time cleaning my closet. I think what happens with me is that I spent money on them and they are mine and why just give them away. I have gotten rid of things that a year or so later I so wish I still had. BUT I want to be more minimal and totally love each thing. BUT then I am a saver...for that time, so it will look like new ...ya know LOL

Does your stuff get mildewy/moldy on FL? In Hawaii my clothes were constantly molding if I wasn’t wearing them in my rotation.

We find that keeping our AC on helps with the moisture, but for sure in our attic we keep certain things to keep the moisture out

I have the same issue with the stains on stuff that was put away and I have no idea how. My sons Christian outfit has yellow stains on it and it’s been in a keepsake box under the bed😤😤😤😤

What size is the titanic coat??? Ilooooveit. Send it to me lol All those vneck tees dont need hangers.... I have wicker baskets for that stuff in my closet. I think you can do one more go round and pluck out all the stuff you were wishy washy about! My tip is to find a great consignment shop or two ... not thrift ... and procure some classic keepers. Good brand outlet stores are bomb, too like talbots and loft

I love lofts, and we have a nordstrom rack closeby I need to find the time to spend on clothes shopping for myself! ... Not sure what size the coat is, small-ish. It's gorgeous, but never gets to see the light of day here in FL!

Put aside a clear bin of maybe clothes or clothes you’ll wear after nursing and leave it somewhere you won’t forget. The clothes you haven’t pulled out of the maybe pile at the end of a month or the year give it up. You haven’t missed it so you’ll never wear it. Or just be brutal and get rid of the maybes! Haha 😉😂

I totally live in workout clothes and I wear leggings as pants!! Who cares!! Lol 😂 but I also have a closet full of clothes I don't ever wear.. I just can't let go of them 🤦🏻‍♀️
