I don't know about anyone else but I would love to see the cleaning and restoration on the inside too. I know it's close quarters for filming but I really enjoy seeing it all come back to life. You two would also make it so fun going through all the things and deciding which house to put them in. Even watching you clean and restore anything for inside would be a delight for me. I don't know what to say for myself. Maybe I'm weird 🙃

What a PLEASURE it was watching you lovingly clean and gently restore your old 1920's dollhouse to get it up and running again. It seems to have been a painstaking effort so I applaud your results a Job Well Done: it looks GREAT! I also was excited to see all of the Incredible Treasures you've purchased for your dollhouse's collectively and your JOY at their revealing. So many of the artisans of the past 30 years are now retired and/or no longer with us, so to see and re-experience their work again and to have it be as cherished and appreciated by the two of you, is heartwarming and encouraging re:the future of our beloved hobby!

Hats off to the miniature makers. I used to like to make tiny food items, which i used to make into badges/broaches on little plates. So i know the patents you need to make these little treasures you showed. Each of these boxes you unwrap are so lovely to see. Some real little wonders hiding inside. Dressing rooms is the best bit. Finding where to put everything in a way that pleases you...a lot of fun. Definitely not just a childs pass time. X

I so adore miniature things! I agree with other comments here, the two little jars maybe from the board with a red cabbage on, there's a little carriage lamp and the chunk of carved wood is from a piece of furniture originally. Love all your videos and working my way through your vast back catalogue of mudlarking videos! Thank you for all your very entertaining hard work x

You did a lovely job cleaning and restoring the outside of the dollhouse! Well done. I prefer to spray cleaning fluid on a cloth or paper towel and then clean with that, rather than spraying directly on the item to be cleaned. The spray travels and will spatter other areas, which then can damage those adjoining areas of paint, plastic, cardboard, etc.

Okay, I'm going to be the persnickety one that chides you for not wearing gloves and masks as you were cleaning out 100-yr. old dust. That aside, you did a wonderful job cleaning. The restoration of the brick work and the roof look amazing....so delicate and so detailed. The unboxing was incredible -- wherever you are able to find these treasures, you are very lucky to have all those pieces. They will add so much character to whichever doll's house you decide to put them in. Kate, you have a challenge to decide which type of house you prefer. Loved it.

My goodness! So many tiny, yet perfect cottage items. I don't see a thing wrong with utilizing things made in recent times, as long as it is all cohesive. With the number of items you need, it's to be expected. So enjoyable to see these Miniature World videos. My boyfriend and I made a miniature cabin/cottage style from that time period, for my goddaughter. He even handmade the shingles for the roof and a working cast iron cook stove. It was unbelievably delightful and so much fun to make. Luv from Nor Cali Gal

Of course doll houses aren’t just for kids. This was an amazing box. There were some amazing little pieces in there. I loved watching the clean up ,and what a difference you made too.Try soaking those net curtains in vanish white and you might get them a bit whiter..I am looking forward to seeing all the old and new things put in the house once you have finished the cleaning. It’s great feeling like a child and getting the joy out of such things like this.I was never lucky enough to have one,,and my two girls were more tomboys so they never had one .So I just settle with watching them being made or restored like your doing ..Love n Light to you both 🥰

Another lovely episode! ♥️ I’m so curious how they made that tiny glass bowl with the teeny tiny flowers! 😁 Don’t forget that in any house, there will be things from older eras that moved in with the people who built the house - only Frank Lloyd Wright insisted that everything must be new. 😉 And as time went on, people would buy more modern things. So sticking to an era can be comfortably loose. 🙂 Also, in a kitchen, the things used in a kitchen aren’t necessarily as fancy as what’s served at the table. So if you want to go county cottage, of course that’s great. But if you’re torn because you like the country kitchen stuff you’re finding, but want a different style for the rest of the rooms, that’s OK too. 🙂 I seem to recall archeological digs in England where they found bits of samian ware and more rustic ware in the same area, and the archeologist saying something like, this was used during cooking and mixing, while that was used for serving.” 😉

A lovely sympathetic restoration. I think sympathetic sums this channel up perfectly as a word. That wooden "Corbel" thing looks like it is broken off an old dark wood mantelpiece with the carved pillar style supports. My guess is it was reused as a side table in the doll's house and that basket of eggs and those bowls are amazing! If you both ever find yourself around Wirral, you need to visit Port Sunlight! It's like a giant model village and it takes me 10 minutes to walk there... The houses are all uniquely designed and it's fabulous.

It looks lovely! And all the things from the unboxing were wonderful. A tip for any future dustings (although it was lovely to watch the meticulous care and the soft paint brush tidying away all that accumulated dust of ages!): take an old pair of hose or stockings and wrap it around the handheld nozzle or crevice tool of your hoover like an extra external filter. You can secure it with an old hair elastic or just a rubber band. It will prevent anything other than dust from being sucked into the machine and make easy and safe work of the job.
