Cleaning Slips and fixing fences on Canterbury Hill Country.

The farm maintenance continues. Cleaning off a fence line with the Hitachi 135 and making a new Gateway to improve stock flow between a hill and flat paddock.

Haven’t heard the description of a Taranaki gate since I was a kid in early sixties on a dairy farm in Northland New Zealand. Here in Australia have heard them called various names. Thanks for the video. Diggers sure are handy to have on the farm

I will get some grass seed on the fence line and spoil to help with erosion and gorse regrowth.

slow going d3-4 with pat blade take 2 hrs to do what that diggers taken all day to do only advantage was the old fence wasnt flattened

It is slow but not as slow as replacing the whole fence. I would love a small dozer for around the farm.
