You should put all windows down, put ac on full blast, and then take a can of lysol disinfectant spray and you spray it into the intake from the outside. It worked for me in my car!

You need to kill the mold on the inside of the vents. Lysol will work. Just spray in the air intake outside in front of the windshield. Just remove the cabin filter and use the outside air vent feature. Turn the fan on high and spray so the lysol goes through the air system. It should kill the mold in the vents.

It takes time to remove the mold over time. Make sure we open the Vent before shut off the car or 5 minutes before we reach our destination. This allows the evaporator to dry before we park the car.

I own a 2013 as well and just invested in a 2006 where in that location is the downstream O2 sensor. Interesting. I'd maybe try to jam the duct tape rolled up into like a joint flattened with the tape facing out then placed in the tube to fill in the void between the tubes first and then wrap? I prefer the ozone to deodorize, though that stuff has to used very carefully so to avoid exposure so when is very minimal and you don't breath in or ideally have exposure on your membranes like eyes. There used to also be a great hunting blind deodorizer by Code Blue who was bought out and now only sells the D Code product. The old product was the D Code with Triplezyme enzyme. I haven't determined what enzyme is the best or like that to use as I'd like to call the old owners and see if they'd disclose or maybe old MSDS's might elude. I did save a higher rated Amazon enzyme gallon for deodorizing which may work, though anyways I spray my filters with including the house and seems to work decent. Though I'm about to run out my case I ordered a few years back. Really needs enzymes and or ozone I'm guessing, though don't overdue the ozone in the car since you'll get plastics odor where you'll maybe want to use one of those lamp diffusers to diffuse some essential oils that smell better to literally coat the plastic and reseal. At least that's what I did. Now that I think about, I've never made a video detailing anything I just wrote. HHHmmm, now I'm thinking may do that.

Going to the salvage yard in the morning, so thinking I'll grab some of that hose material to keep for maybe using to plug if I decide to ever clean as cleaning the radiators, condenser and evaporator is a good idea for better heat exchange. Hopefully, long term, those products don't cause oxidation to corrode.

To do it from the outside you have to remove the front passenger wheel. And its not that easy to get to
