Great video Martin 👍👍Love the new koi mate. You may know, but a lot of people use tap water for the spray bar in the drum, as it helps to keep the biofilm on the mesh down. Keep up the good work mate, take care, Terry

Hi Terry , yes mate the original version of my combi unit was mains fed , and that’s what I was expecting till it turned up and was the updated version

Cheers lean buddy , I’ve got to do it more often than you because I can’t have the almagum under the drum because of it being a combi unit the slots from the clean side goes to the bio unit and the almagum would wipe out the good bacteria on the media 👍👍😎😎

Great update Martin I have a filtreau drum and I put a long draft excluder brush on the inside of my drum so when it does a clean the brush comes around and removes any build up on the edge of the waste shoot as I found I got a build up there I also added a couple more jets at the end of the waste shoot so it helps even more with waste build up ..

Cheers scrag mate , no point in lying about it , I think with the drum it’s a case of tweaking around till you get things right , same as when I first got the nexus , but I’ll stand by what I said at the moment the nexus was a better filter 👍👍😎😎

Looking forward to 2nd episode of Drive Time with Martin ! I love that your quick catch ups are almost 26 minutes! I will wait until you have all of your trip uploaded before I start my Virtual Trucking trip in Eurotruck Simulator 2. I have the truck built as a Red Volvo FH16 but I dont know how much Horsepower you have on yours or If you run Auto or Manual and what gears your truck has! The Fish are looking well and I understand the whole data away from home thing.. and truly do appreciate all the work you do to keep the vids coming ! The Tongue fumbling just proves your human so never worry about editing out when the words get fumbled... and the Koi tax is real.. It is not Mythical. You tell your fish dealer you want a fish net its $50.. Tell them you want a Koi Net and BAAM its now $100. so.. Koi tax is real.

Ooh ok I drive a 2019 Volvo fh, 540 hp with a rear tag axle , it’s a 12 speed twin clutch i shift auto box , power mode is not enabled unfortunately. Limited to 56 mph , hope that helps buddy

Great video Martin, always look forward to your videos dropping😊👍. Nice new addition to your pond👍. The vinegar certainty worked well on the screen. I bought a spare set of filter screens so I change them over every 4 months and clean them by leaving them soaking in limescale remover overnight before I put them away until needed (we have really bad limescale/hard water in Telford). Have you thought of putting all the media back in the bio chamber and getting a bigger air pump to ensure it all agitates? Stay safe and keep up the good work😊👍

Hi Phil , that is the great thing about the oase drums really simple idea that makes life a lot simpler, but it took about 15 mins to do the whole screen so no real heartache . Take care mate and thanks again 👍👍😎😎

Was it worth it? How long did it take to have a clean of it ? Was just wondering whether to get an Auto for the Nexus or not ?

Hi ya buddy , oh yeah it’s worth doing it took me about 15 mins to do the whole screen not long really , and it will only need doing once every few months , it is just because it’s a combi you can’t have the almagum in the actual drum side because of the slots leading to the bio side the almagum would wipe out the good bacteria on you media 👍👍

I think just like the nexus it’s a game of tweaking things till you get it right , where as the nexus was better with low flow rates I’m thinking the drum needs more flow , but that then leads to dwell time problems in the bio , Any how , how are you after the accident, apart from being p off about your mums car Vince never mentioned how you were . I did ask on gkp live but the show ended as I posted
