This time of year we get a lot of spider webs on our front porch. I use an acrylic duster between the pickets. It makes quick work of it.

You've put me in a cleaning mood Kevin. We had company and I thoroughly did two bedrooms when they left and sanitized the bathroom but the last couple of days I have been a bit lazy. I needed this video as motivation to continue with the rest of the house. I like the mop idea you showed us, as I have a lot of hardwood floors. Goldie was so cute supervising the window cleaning. Thank you for your recommendation of the Furbuster! It's wonderful for pet fur on furniture. It has helped to reconcile an irreconcilable difference with Miss Pussycat. Like Kevin, I used to have matching glassware, but now I have a little orange firecracker named Missy. 🐱

Enjoying my coffee while learning about "cheerful" cleaning. I do have some similar equipment, however I do need to purchase a new vacuum. I think I might try the Shark. I always have white vinegar in stock at my house for various cleaning situations. I'll sometimes throw a cup of vinegar into the washer when washing the towels. Great for pet problem areas in eliminating orders. If you saturate a clean rag or paper towels, and wrap around your faucet and/or sink areas, it will clean off stuck on sediment from hard water deposits. Clean coffee maker by running a little white vinegar in water through the coffee maker. The rinse well with water to eliminate vinegar taste. White vinegar is also very economical if you want to save money. Also is safer to use around kids and pets. Bouquet on kitchen counter looks very nice. Fun to see the animals helping out with chores. Hi kevin, I enjoy cleaning, especially if I am stressed. I steam mop my white tile with water only and toss the pads in the wash. I also use a cleaner called grease lightning on my white metal lanai frames and tracks. I found this trick when my sliders were repaired. I think what I like best about you is the way you choose your chores and still enjoy your day. Patience is something you have been blessed with.

Thanks for the memory. Many years ago we had a rainbow vacuum. It was a great cleaning tool but a lot to lug around and fill with water. Our children are grown and in their own homes now but that rainbow vacuum evidently was their nemesis! We hear so many stories these days about how they absolutely hated to have to use it.

This video brings back memories of growing up in NYC where my mother was an antique collector/ dealer. My job was cleaning the chandeliers, a glass filled with clear ammonia and water, dip each crystal in and wipe off. Silver was done the way you showed. There was a lavender scented beeswax my mom used to polish the antique furniture. Crystal and figurines were washed by hand. The parquet floors were stripped and waxed, of course she had a double headed machine for that. 😊

Your videos are truly inspirational. I adjust them to my life where I have to watch my budget and diet closely. Made keto lemon teacakes like your orange teacakes. Glaze was dreamy. Also bought a while ago a Black and Decker hand vac at Goodwill for under $10 that is the bomb-diggity. Use a $7 Kirby from a thrift store that has amazing power. The weight of the Kirby keeps me from having to go to the gym.

I have been wondering how well the laundry sheets work for just average laundry, not stuff that gets really soiled. Mostly it’s just gently getting out the stale smell is all I need, nothing gets top-level dirty. I am definitely looking for the laundry sheets next time in the grocery store. Love your video! My favorite cleaning tool is my Roomba. I hate vacuuming & “Mrs. Hughes” takes care of that for me. Granted, she doesn’t get into the corners as well as I’d like, but for everyday pet hair & schmutz pickup, she’s great! Thanks for sharing all your tips!

Isopropyl alcohol wipes are the best ! I have them everywhere. I also fly a lot and use large alcohol wipes to clean my seating area before I sit. One cannot believe the dirt that comes off airplane seats 😮!!!

I'm slowly replacing and adding some of the items that you show us here, but my only source of income is Social Security - My budget is like a tourniquet right now, but many of these are well worth the money. Thank you for the tip on the Walrus Oil. I am a home cheese maker and I have a lovely, hand made, hard wood cheese press that I have been cleaning with coconut oil. I think the Walrus Oil would work wonders on it.

Kevin, I adore your channel, however there are some areas in which I cannot agree with you. Microfiber is one of them. Please consider using bamboo, hemp or organic cotton. Of course laundry sheets contain PVA, again plastic. Our waters, soils and the beings that live in them will thank you. Thank you for the joy you share in your vlogs

Polti is an Italian company that produces the market leader in steam cleaning equipment..I purchased my first one 20 years ago..Dose all of the following well..Kitchen cabinets and counter tops..Defrosts the freezer..removes most gum and stains from carpet providing dying of the fabric has not taken place..
