As a mother of 2, I can honestly understand the struggle of trying to maintain a household while also having to do everything else! I hope you use some bolts to anchor those cabinets to the wall? Because I'm scared that Fanta will climb up those cabinets and those cabinets are not sturdy enough unless you use bolts to anchor them to the wall. It happened to my baby once when he decided to climb up the drawers in the kitchen. Lucky I was there ...

Love it 😀 when Fanta peeks around her mother and gives us her awesome smile, yes, having a child is time consuming but well worth it, it's one of the best gift ever! your household chores can wait, it's only you, doing most of the chores and having your child on you, is an ideal thing to do!, they didn't have those things when I had my children 😔 would had made my household chores soooooo, much easier and your child is right were she wants to be and should be 😊

Lovely vlog as always. That was a great idea to have an area in the kitchen for Fanta since she can be busy playing while you’re doing something and she can also learn by seeing what you’re doing ❤

@Regina Payton first of all, if you saw the video you can see that the area that Aisha set up is not close to the stove or another area where there’s an immediate danger (she even pointed at the fact she was going to ask her husband to cover the plug outlet). Second, by all the videos this family has shared, you can see clearly that they’re very safe and on top of the baby when it comes to safety. Third, a kitchen can still be a great area to play when you’re safe and have common sense (put chemical and sharp items on top shelf, don’t let child get close to stove, shelves screw to the wall, etc) Children learn by modeling, they can use pots and pans and “safe” utensils for play, they become part of the routine, and YES they can become even safer by learning what to do or not to do rather than being tucked away in a “safer” space. Natural environments are great places conductive of learning and developing. And this parents are doing and trying their best when it comes to make used of their limited space and navigating their child’s needs on her first years as best they can.

I love your videos so much. I know how hard it can be when having a baby & trying to get things done. Do you guys have "Play Pens," or Play Yards. You can put the baby in it in any room where you are, so she can see you, put toys, & other things she love in it. She will be safe while you work.

Times have changed. I remember when I was little we lived in a large 2 story house with a nice roof top overlooking Seoul. My mom rented the upstairs as an apt to a Korean Army GI n his American girlfriend. The man was always so kind to me and later became a famous musician in Korea my mother told me. Be careful with all the plug strips (plucking multiple things into your electrical strip). Here in the States we do not recommend that because appliances catch fire quickly and people will tend to use two or more items on the plug strip at the same time (which will start to spark and catch fire). Microwaves, Rice Cookers, Small Ovens, Heaters, have a lot of wattage. Plug strips cannot handle that amount. Please be careful. Maybe read articles and do research, since Korean appliances are different. I just thought I should tell you :) !!
