Another tip that really helps asthmatics, is to wash all bedding at 60 degrees, as cooler will not kill mites, (even thought cooler is 'greener'), also drape the duvet back over the end of the bed during the day, as mites hate light and will retreat to the foot end. Also hoover the mattress every time you change the bedding (if you don't already?). We do all these and it really makes a difference

What rubbing alcohol do you use for the curtains. I also have sewn in black out lining on large cotton IKEA fabric. How would you clean those. The Re is a brown water stain from a flood on the lining too. Any tips?
@CleaningHowTo2 жыл бұрын
What is the lining made of? Any rubbing alcohol is fine it wont make any difference. Vinegar may work on the water stain- but it may be permanent; watch my other cleaning tutorials you'll pick up various tips.

Bro my Dad literally called me lazy when I got dirt on my curtain after vacuuming and it got stuck in the vaccum as he is literally sitting on the counch playing on his phone so when I explained what happened he told me,”clean it, figure it out lazy” and he also said He hates the negativity in our house when he is sending me to my room for no reason just cause he does not like me and then calls me names like lazy
@RoleyWheelz Жыл бұрын
And along with that he says in a mocking tone oh you’re such a BA and a thug, but all you do is cry your a p word. He says this negativity as he says he hates negativity and wonders why I cry all the time because I’m 12 and a boy I can’t cry when I get bullied by a full grown adult which doesn’t that make him immature if he makes fun of kids that he wonders why are feeling like this and he literally is worse than my 1 year old brother and his clearly not fit to take care of any of them

vacuum once in two weeks and take hem down and wash them in every 6 months or so. save yourself a life.
@CleaningHowTo3 жыл бұрын
Why on earth would you vacuum curtains every two weeks? They shouldn’t need to be washed every six months either; unless you smoke constantly with the windows closed 😁
@virtual7insanity3 жыл бұрын
@@CleaningHowTo even better. then do it less frequently. I understand this wet glove does a better job but it's a LOT of work! Why? Unless curtains are really expensive and will be damaged if washed often...
@CleaningHowTo3 жыл бұрын
@@virtual7insanity the main reason is size, the secondary reason is cotton lining shrinks under moisture so putting non synthetic curtains in the washing machine, or bath, or any other form of flood cleaning will shrink and damage them.
