Are these machines like the old Simplicity Symmetry/Riccar Vibrance, but with the twin fan motor for more airflow?

No they have a single stage motor. They do not have a two stage motor like the old high end Riccar's.

I've sold many of these to Churches with great success. The unit does have a 1 year commercial warranty. I suggest contacting where you purchased the machine for warranty service. Most issues are eastly fixed and if something is broken it would be repaired under warranty.
