I’m watching from Scottsdale, AZ. I’d like a video on cleaning for single people. Yes, we don’t have spouses or possibly children to clean up after, but we also have no one to help us out. So we work all day, make dinner, clean up afterwards, the laundry, the general cleaning of the bathrooms and other spaces. Sometimes, it seems like I work all day only to come home and work the rest of the time or getting ready to go back for the work week. It seems relentless some times.
I take car of an elderly lady and her house is always clean. And it's because of a very simple schedule. Mondays are laundry, tuesdays are errands and emty/cleanout frig, wednesday is the 2nd laundry day, thursday is the cleaning day (dust, vacuum, mop, bathroom, kitchen) I'm given 1-2 hrs each day for those tasks and never use all the time. Usually 30 minute to maybe an hour. It goes super quick so I fill it with extra stuff I see needs to be done. And of course, more laundry time is just waiting for the machines to finish. She has a cordless vacuum so if there's something that needs to be tidied its quick and easy. Also when I prepare food once a day, I clean as I go starting by filling the sink with soapy water. Pots pans and dishes get washed and put in the drying rack. There's no dishwasher. And honestly I hate dishwashers. As soon as she's done eating I wash her bowl/utensils. 30 minutes or less and she has enough food for the day as well as leftovers for her freezer. I found that the cordless stick vacuum and steam mop (both easy to use and maintain, I did a lot of research to make sure it was in her budget and easy enough even she could use them) made a lot of difference between cleaning her house and mine. My house is much larger and I was so overwhelmed, so I just bought a dyson v12 and a narwal self cleaning robot mop.( My floors are wood so a steam mop is a no no. ) They just came in today while I was watching the video and my kitchen and entry are already prestine with the little bit of charge the dyson had when it arrived. So easy.

And then for some of us we have pets. They are a whole extra responsibility. Not only do single people have to do everything we have to pay for everything.

The Rainbow vacuum cleaner was my first investment purchase. I've owned for 28 years, and it works. It uses water to trap the dirt and the dust so the air stays clean. It has a vacuum motor separator that you can remove and clean. It even can blow air which is great at inflating what ever needed fast. I love this vacuum cleaner.😊

Listening while cleaning my home office on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Thanks for keeping me company while I cleaned. It's been a couple months since cleaning my most used/favorite vacuum, but my daughter just moved out and the vacuum she left behind needs a major clean.

I tried the laundry pods, they don’t really work for me because I’ve found pieces stuck to the side of the washer tub even after putting them in first. Maybe because I have a washer that is older, with a center agitator. They work well in the laundry mat though & are convenient to take for items too big for my washer at home. Very glad to hear that the laundry pods are not actually plastic. Love your videos! Lots of good info.

Cleaning in McAlester Oklahoma! Just got my Narwal mopping robot and decided to unbox and set it up while watching and my dyson v12 showed up halfway through the video! So I unboxed her and vacuumed my worst area rug... omg, I thought my whole house vacuum was good. But it doesn't have a carpet/beater bar attachment so the area rugs are hard to vacuum. And we have an ever shedding fluff butt border collie named Malcolm and 2 new cars, 1 a long hair named mycroft that LOVES to play and hang out on obe of my rugs. So ut was baaaaad. I wasn't paying attention and my v12 overflowed before I was done! It got us soooooooo much hair and the DIRT! It was gross and terrible in the most wonderful way. I'm so glad I got this vacuum. And when I first picked it up it fet heavy, but the second I held it properly it felt very light, perfectly balanced, just what my gimpy EDS hands need! The area rug looks great and so does my kitchen floor. And I didn't have to fight with a long vacuum hose 😊. And I've been implimenting your pretreat, do something else, and then wipe. Sooo much easier, I never have to scrub anymore and my hands and back are happier for it!

I'm a chemical engineering professional with experience in detergent and wash system development. The pods do not create a discernable difference when compared to traditional liquid or powdered detergents. This applies for both dishwashers and clothes washers. The reason being, critical components like enzymes and alkaline compounds aren't optimized properly within the wash cycle. They still interact together since they cannot be dispensed at specified times with the ideal temperature/concentrations. Truly separating them with disaggregated chemistry and cycles is the best way, but nothing like this exists today. It just isn't worth your money.
