@@CleanThatUp Hey Brandon, I messaged you several times. I don't want to repeat the whole story yet again. I need your help please. I'm using for the first time Zep Grout Cleaner & Brightener. It DOESN'T WORK! I've had to keep going over the grout over and over almost everyday! There's the RARE chance it'll finally white a small line, but the end are dark and uneven. I can't do this anymore! I've tried everything else. I've followed directions & do everything a bit different each time. Even got an electric brush. I might buy a steamer once I finish the bottle of Zep. But not too sure what to look for in a grout steamer. Any advice on the Zep & steamer please?

I knew the “soaking in vinegar for hours” trick for sprayers. But CLR for 2-3 mins? Yes, thank you! Btw, ty for showing how you rinse shower walls when the shower arm/head are stationary. I bought a square bowl from Dollar Tree, and use that to rinse the walls. I used to splash, rather than pour on the rinse water. Your method is much better.

I used to clean 5 star accommodation - and broke records within the company for number of clients who requested they only send me back. Two cloth system is a must. For anything except floors, pure white vinegar in a spray bottle. Glass, stone, timber tops. Two clothes, as well as paper towels (or s roll of good quality toilet paper) for specifically dirty spots. To polish stainless steel - a few drops of baby oil on a clean dry cloth. No need for gloves, expensive cleaning products or fumes. Maintaining separation between the clean and soiled areas (and cloths) is the key. And not 🚫 over doing it with any liquids! Perhaps this works for medium stains and generally dirty sink. My sink had deep dark stains (looked like dried oil) compounded by hard water stains (Texas). I ended up sanding the sink with 400 grit sandpaper (I wet sanded it). Worked perfectly. I will polish with automobile rubbing compound and polish for brilliant shine. This saved me from buying a new sink. You might try this. Note sandpaper can cause scratch marks on your sink. If so you might need to sand with finer grades wet sandpaper (say 400, 600. 800, 1000, then 2000 grit to get scratch marks off) and then polish. No guarantees here, just a suggestion. You can try on a small hidden section first to check. YMMV.

Here's another source of phantom smells, often overlooked. Detritus builds up inside the inlet pipe that connects the dishwasher to the food disposal. I find the opening under the gasket at the mouth of the disposal and using a narrow bottle brush, I scrub it before running a dishwashing cycle. As the dishwasher drains, all the loose stuff flushes out and it's clean again.

I got a bunch of refills really cheap on Prime Days last year, but when I run out, I'm going to try putting a DIY recipe in the Dawn spray bottle and see how it goes! I use it to clean everything from baking sheets to my shower; I think the alcohol makes a big difference in grime removing capability. But it does dry out my skin if I'm not careful. 😊

We do have them in Australia. At least in Sydney I know that Meriton has installed them in every apartment for the last 40 years. The brand is Inskinerator. I had one in my apartment in 1985, but they were around at least five years before that. Every rental property I’ve ever seen has had one. Tenants put all sorts of crap down them like wooden chopsticks, or boiled rice (which sets like cement and blocks the pipes). They are a nasty breeding ground and often landlords totally remove them because of the problems they cause and the high cost of maintaining constantly replacing them every time a tenant moves out.

Yes. It does not scratch and removes hard water deposits and marks left behind by accidental bumps with aluminum. I always start out with liquid detergents, then (if necessary) move up to alkaline cleaners (like Soft Scrub) or acidic cleaners (like Barkeeper's Friend). Generally, if it is food stuff use alkaline; if metallic (like rust or scuff marks from aluminum) I go with BKF. The difference really shows up when cleaning the inside of the glass oven door. BKF isn't much help on that, but Soft Scrub and a bit of pre-warming does wonders.

My brother gave me a bottle of BFK for Cookware. I tried it several times scrubbing pots and pans , but could barely scrub off any stuck on stains, etc. Finally, since Brandon is so talented & brave with his Scrub Daddy or Scrub Mommy, he inspired me to finally buy a 3 pack I found at Walmart for a decent price. That is the ONLY THING that helps me scrub anything off because without it, I'm too physically weak. But still, I can't deal with scrubbing fit too long anyway.

@@kimgb8248I rub coconut oil on my pots and pans with paper towels before I cook on them. That helps with the clean up.
