Which is all bollocks anyway. 1. The bomb they showed was a GBU-12 Paveway (500lb). Like all other bombs in the Paveway series, they are encased in steel not cellulose. The US military have never used a cellulose encased laser guided bomb. 2 . The bad guys' chemical expert identifies the explosive as a 70/30 mix of HMX and TNT called Octol. While this is the correct formulation for Octol, the GBU-12 actually uses Tritonal, which is an 80/20 mix of TNT and powdered aluminium.

@@davidanderson4091 Obviously it went over your head The bomb was specially made for that mission. It was encased in cellulose to hide the US military presence and make it look car bomb not an aerial bomb Secondly the US military does not exclusively Tritonal or steel casings For explosives They use Tritonal, Composition H6 or PBXN-109 For casings, the M-82 bomb 4 different casings from steel to carbon fiber composite The point was the bomb was created specifically for that mission When the US military need bunker busters in Iraq in 91 The GBU-28 were designed, built and dropped in Iraq in 2 weeks As the casting was cellulose and the explosive would likely eat through paper, the bomb had to be used as soon as possible so it something they can create as needed

There were many great stories and 5 have been turned into major feature films starting with Hunt for Red October. They screwed up Sum of All Fears changing the terrorist cause in a profound way discarding the prevailing political climate and Clancy's prescience. The Hollywood agenda continued with shadow recruit. The core problem is you can't trust a franchise to woke sell-outs who despise and subvert the source material. They want the paycheck, they have no passion for telling the story especially the way Clancy portrayed the protagonists.

The left MFD on the F/A-18 clearly shows the plane is off. Canopy open, flaps and ailerons both off, boarding ladder extended. Low hydraulic pressure in both systems. Ins not aligned. It's even showing an error on the battery switch, meaning it was probably on external power for the shot.

@@mn815048 At 2:20 the cam view is usually for ATG missiles like AGM class with infrared cam. One dropped was a GBU that does not have a cam. The right MFD also shows weapons management being in SAFE mode. Left MFD shows two numbers: one being too low (left #) to be airspeed at which the aircraft is flying, and right one being at angel 3 that is too low altitude for it to be flying above the cloud. Weapons hardpoint only has ONE GBU? why? Why not 2 or more in case it needs to hit more targets? The list goes on...

While not in everything, an almost common denominator is John Clark. Through the Tom Clancy authored Jack Ryan books, Rainbow Six, and on into the "guest author" series of continuing Jack Ryan, Jack Ryan Jr and the Campus, etc. The really should make a movie of "Without Remorse". ............. and boom, here come the remarks about the 2021 abomination....lol.
