Installed mine last week. After a minute of running it realized that garbage card board gasket was not going to work. Took it off and put the original rubber gasket back on. Works great.

I have looked at these for months and have not seen a single video or photo of it on a current gsxr 1k. If this bad boy doesn't leak, ill get one ASAP

so far no leaks thats why I recommend lock tight on all the screws. & I also looked into it as well your right there is no video currently out there for this cover thats why I wanted to be the 1st!!

Hello sir this is just a suggestion you know, how about you remove and disable all the emission on that bike or putting an aftermarket stabilizer removing the stock ones?
@ACProductions779 ай бұрын
was not planning on doing that on this bike. but if I come across another gsxr 1000 that would like that done ill make a video from it and post it.

Why didn't you put any liquid gasket maker (like Suzuki Bond) where the case halves meet?
@ACProductions775 ай бұрын
it had its own gasket no need to install another one.
@__Max-oe6zm5 ай бұрын
@@ACProductions77 Suzuki says you do, maybe you know more than Suzuki or every other manufacturer that says the same thing? Or maybe if it develops a small oil leak after a year or so, you'll bother to read the service manual to learn what you don't know.

@@__Max-oe6zm ill go read my service manual to double check but why would you put gasket maker on top of another gasket? that in itself doesnt make sense...

It’s been seven months how’s it going so far any problems and have you been pushing the bike to its limits with the clear cover?

wow its been that long already time is for sure going by to quick ill try to get a review video of this up soon, the most ive gone up to was 125 but generally not always riding at that speeds & so far no issues at all.

Hello, excellent video, what did you use to prevent the glass from fogging up? What product did you use or what did you do?
@ACProductions774 ай бұрын
I just open the oil cap to let the condensation out then after that re tighten it, but honestly after going for a ride there is no need to do that as it doesn't build any after a good ride, it could be cause when i installed it , it had been a very long time since i last rode so that was really a cold start on the bike.

These are way cool. Just wondering how they look after six months or more. Can't find any info or video on these other than new installs. Anyone who installed one of these, brave enough to post how they look after long term use? Not intending to be negative but these are expensive just for bling factor, 0% performance upgrade. Not worried about leaks as can be dealt with.

@@ACProductions77 I also stumbled upon another video on KZbin (I don't want to spam) featuring a GSX-R 750 and it appears that there was a sensor present when opening the clutch cover. However, for my GSX-R 600 L0 (2010), it seems quite straightforward to remove the cover. I believe it's just a matter of unscrewing it and that's it. Additionally, did you need to drain the oil before removing it?

The ebay catalog straight out of china, this is going to fail in less then 6 months, either it will turn brown amnd foggy, or it will crack, if you happen to lay the bike down the cheap thin plastic will explode
