I enjoy your reports Ross! My family have been vacationing up there camping at Glenhaven from 1977 - 2009. The water started to get so thick of algee. That's part of the reason we stopped going up there, but I still enjoy looking at your reports. Thank You!

Thanks for the report Ross. I went out Wednesday morning and caught three bass all on spinnerbait. One over by Paradise Cove and two on the far side of Horseshoe Bend. Only out for a couple hours. The only surface weeds I saw were over in Horseshoe Bend and they looked to be dying. No top water bite for me. Hopefully it will happen soon. I love fishing a buzzbait. All the bass were in the 2 - 3lb range.

I don’t think there will be an impact other than we should get more rainfall consistently this late Fall & Winter.

As a guy who only manages to get down to clearlake a few times a year and is just out for the fun I really appreciate your reports. Last weekend for me and a friend was rough...one monster catfish each and a bass smaller than my lure. Water looked great...first time in ten years I actually found a spot clean enough to jump in and cool off. Haven't grown any extra toes yet.....
