Tyler has the secret, he's got a private wind block over in the keyes. His granddaughter yanked a 5+ lber a few days ago. Wind or not, it was her all time best on bass! A nice little fattie👍 EDIT: I'm not trying to say you got beat by Tyler's granddaughter, but you did...😂 I stayed away last Saturday, as it was raining most all of the day. I went up to Buckingham on Sunday and it was pretty windy then, but clear blue skies. Water looks pretty nasty when you get up close...

Was out from Michigan last week. The toughest fishing I've had on the lake. We were fortunate enough to catch several three to four pounders and one 7. Hopefully next year! Thanks for your reports.

Was out there Wednesday (wind blowing 15-20 in Sacto) and lucky enough to be a calm day until the late afternoon winds ramped up. Fished the Lakeport area with good success on spawners with Senkos. Also caught a couple on frogs.

Thanks for the report. It was tough last week as we saw tons of big females in shallow water in the sun but would jet as soon as you got close. Caught fish on one technique and that’s it. I’ll be back up tomorrow to fish but think our Thursday Friday tournament will be cancelled for huge wind on Thursday. Hope the wind changes but I’m not holding my breath. See you out there

Just finished a 3 day friends/company bass & crappie tournament at Indian Beach Resort. Thus- Sat. Thursday crazy wind only a couple of 3 pounders caught, Friday nice day one 5.1 and a hand full of 3.5 to 4 pound some of the guys caught a bunch of crappie with a few over 2 pounds. Saturday awful crazy weather, at about noon the wind and rain stated subsiding so my partner and I decided to try the Keys. Bad idea! first of all there was a kayak tourney going on and they were all in the keys of course, we fished for about two hours then all hell broke loose! wind came up and it started hailing we had a miserable ride back to our docks! Shout out to Kuiu rain gear, not a drop of water got inside even at 20 mph boat speed into a 20 plus wind in our face. Oh yeah not even a bite.

Oh wow thank you for this me and my grandpa are planning on going Saturday and Sunday this weekend hopefully we’ll catch something I really don’t want to see my grandpa leave with nothing 😅 but out of anything I’d just like to enjoy the beauty of Clearlake 😊

Got lucky on Wednesday and caught a 5 lber on a purple oversize nedrig near pirates cove, buddy also got a slightly smaller one out there and we caught several other fish but they were all small. Tight lines fellas

No disrespect to anyone. But water clarity this time of year is overrated. Just go fish. Blind cast. Stop feeling like you need to see the fish. It’s more detrimental to your fishing success. Just stay back a little, make long casts, and you will be way better off. Guaranteed 👍🏻👍🏻

How is Rodman Slough looking? We're headed to Clear Lake tomorrow to do some kayak fishing and that's usually where we start. Haven't done well at all the last couple of years so I'm really hoping for a bite this year.

Hey Ross! Thanks for the reports. Super helpful. My buddy and I drove up from socal and fished the 11th and 12th. We did pretty well, caught 23 lbs each day. Fished all over the lake. I love this place. Keep up the great reports!

I have a place in Nice and I was seeing 6’ of visibility on Wednesday and Thursday. Also saw some cruisers who were scouting out bedding locations amoungst the tules. Had a couple of 4/5 pounders that were protecting a few areas in a pre-spawn.
