I like the stick view. It gives a better view of you breaking those trees into smaller pieces. Most of us know what you’re doing. But to someone new to this type of work, it gives them a birds eye view of what’s happening and a better understanding too. 👍🏻
@johnthompson96254 жыл бұрын
For those who don't operate some of these types of equipment, you should look at some of the heavy duty "mowers" out there. They'll take down a 4 inch tree and give you kindling. The drum cutters are even more powerful, chewing through 12' trees. First time I hit a deer carcass, I thought I'd killed someone. High-flow hydraulics are not toys. Good to watch someone like Chris operating one, and using proper caution. Those 'mowers' can sail rocks and logs a long way. Keep up the fine work Mr. Chris.

I've been noticing for a while now how high the mud flaps are on the dump truck when he's "reverse spreading." I mention this because I drove semi for 25 years and one of the many jobs I had over that time was running a 35-yard end dump. I remember DOT regulations for the mud flaps were no more than 4" in off the ground (on any truck) which made it hell to reverse spread. Still could do it but have to make sure to go thin. Even just backing into a job site you could tear them off I just going through some soft mud or something and then you see him laying out in front of you after you backed up. So what you do to get around their DOT regulations is you get out to your cordless drill and a couple wrenches and you drill new holes about 3in" down and mount them in the new holes. Now you're good to go. On the off chance that you might get pulled over for a random inspection once a year or so they will generally let you slide on the fact that you made the effort to fix the problem rather than just ran without mud flaps which would be a much greater problem. If you got the one DOT cop that wrote you a Fix-It ticket then you just put new flaps on long enough to go have it inspected and then you put the old flaps back on
