Clearing Brush and Pulling Trees Out From the Fence Line with a Subcompact Tractor and Old Farmall

First I used the 3 point hitch hydraulics on my Bolens subcompact tractor to pull out all the woody brush and small trees from along the fence line. Then I used a middle buster on the Bolens to rip out any remaining roots and small brush. The final step was to use the Farmall Super A with the cultivator on the back to break up the remaining soil and pull the vegetation out. I also talk about using round fence posts from Tractor Supply and why I will not be using them again.

If you burn/char the bottom 8” of the wood posts they wont rot fast.

Do you know the dimensions on those chains for tires on the Bolens or where you got them? I have the same tractor and have had trouble finding chains that fit.

I was watching a couple harvest and mill a huge oak tree that had fallen on their property, and use it for gate posts. The also did the charring method, but also put a LOT of rock in their holes for drainage. I had the same issue with pressure-treated 4x4s; they didn't even last five years, and they were secured in concrete. I will be putting in a lot of 1.5" gravel in my posts in the future. DRAINAGE DRAINAGE DRAINAGE! I can't find that video. I thought I had subscribed to their channel, but I am not seeing it...
