That was very satisfying to watch! But I cringe seeing the B so close to the creek. On many occasions, I have backed too close to an embankment and become stuck. Thankyou. I am very glad I was here.

That implement is completely insane. As you were mulching that brush into particulate, the thing on my mind was how many trips to the dump with the dump trailer it would of been. In my area in Washington state yard waste disposal is free if you are dumping less than 1 ton. one ton and one pound will run you over $100 to dump. Plus think about the fuel you put into the truck to drive to and from the dump, not to mention the load time and drive time. This implement is both a money saver and time saver, not many implements do both. You could have your 30 acres looking like a park. I admire how you work the grapple and mulcher, you got a good bit of work done in a very short time. The truly amazing thing is how that 2601 has stepped up to the plate and hit the long ball. It moves that 1000lb Baumalight around fairly easy. I think it is time for me to move up a size from the BX to the 2601. Wonder if Kubota would sponser you into a L series? They have to be watching what you are doing with this B series. Kudos, you have one hot channel going. Seacliff Steve.
@MyClutteredGarageАй бұрын
Thanks Steve. I’m at a point with the B2601 is undersized. It’s a great machine, but I would caution you to really think ahead and take the next step up if you think you’ll need it. I have surely sold several of these tractors for Kubota through my demonstrations on the channel, but they do not seem to have a partner program. It’s unfortunate because many of the other lesser known machines are really growing and competing because they realize the value of social media. I think the “big boys“ are going to feel pressure from some of these other companies if they don’t step it up.

Very impressive. Im doing something similar on my property now. I'm clearing out a walking/atv trail through the woods just using a brush hog which works ok but that thing leaves a smoother finish without as many small sapling twigs sticking up.

That Baumalight is the bomb!! What a piece of equipment .

Glad the brush mulcher works well for you! I enjoyed the layout of this video, including the replays, and the simultaneous double shots. Also thought the clip of you washing the tractor at the end was a nice touch.

I was worried that the mulcher attachment would be too much for the little B2601, but it really pulls its weight!

Man that mulcher is intense! I could use one of those for a day or two. I love seeing (and being in) the woods in the fall with the foliage! Now that you’ve mulched up and cleared some of the forest floor, keep an eye out for invasive plants, they tend to move into cleared areas when there isn’t competition. Keeping things all mowed down helps, but does take away some of the shrub habitat.

My neighbor has one, I WAS interested in purchasing one for the farm until he called me and said come look at this. The mulcher shot a 15 ft 3" diameter tree back under the tractor ripping a hole in the poly gas tank. I've changed my mind, renting a skid steer w/ mulcher for a day is my choice now!
@MyClutteredGarageАй бұрын
I think the chains in the front help grab or slow down debris, but I’ve seen it shoot some limbs under my tractor too.

New sub here and y'all got some great looking property. We are actually in the market coming very soon for a little orange tractor and been doing my research through videos to see how they handle. I would love to keep it above a 40HP if possible but yeah this little guy gets the work done. Great job y'all.

So an early question as I watch this: in your opinion, would some extra weight in front have helped smooth things out a bit? That machine looks really heavy on the back end! I would LOVE ❤❤❤ to have access to one of those for a weekend.
@MyClutteredGarageАй бұрын
Thank you! I think the front end loader adds sufficient weight. I would not be able to use it without the front and loader to counterbalance the weight.
@IveysFamilyFactotumАй бұрын
We have one of the flail mower from Del Morino and it has the option for hammer blades not the Y blade....seen your mulcher has the Y blades. The hammer ones do much MUCH better on the bigger trees and limbs. If that is an option you can use with that I would HIGHLY suggest getting some.
@MyClutteredGarageАй бұрын
Thanks. I’m sure I could change these out.
@davidmartin7660Ай бұрын
Bet you wish it could run off the front of the tractor after an hour or two looking and driving backwards! Does do a nice job. So will you brush hog the area in the future now?
@MyClutteredGarageАй бұрын
It definitely would be nice to have in front of the tractor. That’s a common complaint of three-point hitch mounted attachments like my stump grinder. Yes we’ll be able to just keep it mowed in the future. Probably with the flail mower.
@rodbagley1686Ай бұрын
If you think it is bad now. Just see what happens next spring when the water come through and nothing to keep the soil from washing away.. You might have another S Carolina on your hands.

So that mulcher will work on a 25 HP tractor? Please provide a link to it.
@MyClutteredGarage3 сағат бұрын
25hp if the tractor frame is large enough. I’d really recommend a larger HP tractor but baumalight is now developing a mulcher for smaller tractors. Check out Baumalight.com. Thanks!

At the 14:00 to 15:00 mark, that 3" branch was well poised to take out your transmission. There are vulnerable parts exposed under the tractor. I bought a under-belly armor plate to protect my BX25D from BXpanded. I checked and they do not seem to have one that would fit your B2601, but I encourage you to check out the one they have for the BX. You could fabri-cobble one yourself that would be similar and find appropriate attachment points. Also as others mentioned, you need to wear a mask. I also saw you getting near the creek edge and you did not appear to be wearing your seatbelt. If that tractor rear tire met some soft overhang, you could roll the tractor and be killed in the process. Also some camera shots were actively moving (hand held) pointing right at the throat of the mulcher. NEVER get anywhere near that. A stick through the eye could also prove fatal. You need to step up your safety game.

For the life of me, I don't understand why there isn't a tractor attachment rental market.
@gcksheaАй бұрын
Amen!!! I'd be for that. Support a local rental agency for the occasional tasks, but never frequent enough to buy an attachment that sits 99% of the time. A co-op kind of arrangement with a bit of buy-in would work, provided risk is not shared for the abusive user.

Funny you say that, I just bought a 21 acre property that came with a Kubota bx23s and a few attachments, but I want to use a box blade, seed drill, grapple, flail mower etc. and I told my wife there isn’t anywhere that rents these attachments for the occasional use. I am glad others think this way, may have to delve into this further.
