@jmuller865 жыл бұрын
thanks, yea the in cab view is hard, because when you to speed it up the swing makes you dizzy
@johnhughes73485 жыл бұрын
I so appreciate your editing. Speeding this up when it would be boring to watch in real-time was really nice (unlike some KZbinrs that have gotten very lazy and just film all in real-time, Chris). Nice work. Pic in Pic is nice too.
@jmuller865 жыл бұрын
Thanks, in chris's defense though, it does take a long time to do this kind of editing. When you speed up clips you have to render each one to be able to watch, GPU doesnt help at all with it, only raw processing power

Why do you angle the felling cut downwards to the "hinge" instead of going in flat? Was always taught to make the felling cut flat, and insert a wedge or felling bar, and now wondering why you choose different. :-) Will you do ditches along the road as well, to avoid problems with water running down it later? Nice video and nice work. A pleasure to watch while relaxing tonight :-)
@jmuller865 жыл бұрын
When I have a little tension on the tree from the excavator, this angle cut makes sure the bottom of the tree cant kick out towards me, like a barber chair. May not be the best way, but It seems to work for me
@ohhpaul73645 жыл бұрын
Not trying to dog on you or anything, but is it an optical illusion or could you have built up the road a bit between the road and the curve right there at the start? Looks like a dip, I know it is going downhill but if you were to do a string line from the curve to the street, would there be a sag in the middle of it? Do you have enough room to dig more shale out of the hillside of the driveway (to fill that low spot) and is the owner willing to spare the cost of the additional work? Honestly, I am just being curious- but I know what the comments reads like, but I don't have enough time to sit and be gentle about it all. Thanks for the videos.
@jmuller865 жыл бұрын
Its pretty flat at the beginning, but I also didn't want to make it perfect because the town will most likely make us, or pay them to put a culvert in at the start there. I didn't get any good after videos of the driveway but it came out pretty good. I will be working there next week so you will be able to see the final results as well as some more progress.
