I totally understand needing your own space. I moved in with my folks when my Dad got sick. He passed 7 years ago which was 10 years longer than expected (thank goodness!) but I’ve had to stay with my mom. Thank the Divine for my camper van because that’s where I go when I need SPACE. I love her but I’m almost at my wits end with the conflict between obligation and freedom. 😢 I’m so glad I chose a no build build 😂 because I’m constantly rearranging stuff. I did get a roof rack for larger items. On the hunt for a Thule but they’re so expensive! So I can’t leave bigger stuff up there because you know…Midwest weather, lol. Don’t forget about Habitat For Humanity Restore! I found perfect kitchen cupboards that were intended to be skinny hang up ones but they fit perfectly under my bed on their sides. Repurposing items is awesome.

I'm kinda in a similar situation as you. I've been on my own for so long and I never had kids so living with family again is sometimes mentally stressful. I recently cleaned out my van and stuff is in storage so that I can change things around. It took me a while to get thar motivation. Now, I am craving a trip, even if it's just a weekend! But my van has also been sitting a while so the battery is dying. So much to do, it's hard to know where to begin and how to not get overwhelmed with it all

Glad your back! Fan for 3 years. Own 4 St Louis radio stations. Offer still stands. Do a morning show interview either phone in or in person, we have no problem mechanically going over and fixing your van..tires too.. We have several shops on retainer for advertising. Easy Peasy.

I did Burn for years and loved it but it is very pricey. There’s an extra charge to be able to use locations other than your home location.

Caffeine does put you in a frenzy it effects the nervous system it wires you put me on edge for sure ! As well the season thing if your going into spring sometimes if your allergic to molds, pollens, spores, etc,. can make you sleep more and cause internal disruptions.

I would go with solar forsure. There is a movement in the truck stop community and corporations re- evaluating why they are providing free electricity to nomads just because they buy food or coffee. In corporates eyes it's getting out of control and "reeks of entitlement" that's a quote I got from a regional manager for a corp I can't name. Not sure if this is true but he said people don't even ask they just plug in their power stations like electricity is free 😂 Not saying you do that. It just sounds like things might be changing for the "free electricity" crowd and it's inevitably going to effect all vanlifers. The other comment this regional said was " it was one thing to charge phones and laptops you're working on but we're going to have to draw the line on the overwhelming amount of batteries and power banks." Basically I guess it's getting out of control.

I don’t plug in but I’m sure lots do! And I tried the battery bank thing for a while and it wasn’t for me because I was struggling to find anywhere I could sit and charge a big power bank! That’s why I’m think solar will be best. Even if I used solar to charge the battery bank

Maybe get a big power source to charge things instead of doing a bunch of electrical work it seems like alot of work and costly to keep fixing it try less this round the necessities only less stress less cost I have no motivation to exercise I'm determined to get started need to get my health in order loose weight I keep watching fitness vloggers for inspiration working nights really has me so tired all the time😊

Hun… I’ve been vegan for 10 years… it’s not the problem… also I’d rather die than participate in the senseless murder and consumption of rotting and seared blood, flesh, and muscle tissue. The amount of people with cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, and other illnesses that eat meat and dairy is astronomical so no I won’t be doing that.
