Hi, nice little video, with all that area around the place covered in concrete, as you go to the plant auctions keep your eye's open for a ''Road Saw'', then you will be able to cut neat trenches out without breaking you back using a Stihl saw, ... just a thought 🤔🤔

Yes a road saw would be very useful, or at least a trolly for the disc cutter 👍🏼
@petercross887111 ай бұрын
Hi I suggested a 'Road saw' because the majority are Diesel, and for sustained cut like you will have to do they will stand up to it better, also the blade or a 'Road saw' is larger than on a disk cutter so you get a deeper cut and that will be better when the depth of your concrete maybe variable. Well it has been on every farm I have worked on . . Great project, keep that cup half full.

Hi James, Max did a great job with the digger scraping the yard, and it does make it easier with concrete. 👍👍

I've been watching this channel for a while and I think it's time for James to retire... Max is fully capable of taking over now with those skills!

look like could be a drain in the middle of that yard where the waters sitting you could dig the brambles out side the gate with the digger nice work certanley looking sharper
@finditfixitfarmit11 ай бұрын
I was hoping there was a drain but no 🤦🏻♂️ it’s where the concrete has sunk 🙃

Not sure yet mate, depend what needs doing when we get to it. Probably around £6500/£7000 at a guess.

I realise your thinking of Max's AND The buildings safety, but the digger should be on FULL revs, it's not operating as it should as the pumps aren't flat out and young max won't get the correct " feel" for the machine with the pumps working that slow, he's your son and it's your digger, but I'm just trying to give some good advice, PLEASE feel free to tell me to NAFF off or worse if you want🤭
@finditfixitfarmit10 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. I’ve never heard that a digger should be working at full revs before, I’ve been working on them and owned several over the years and the general consensus around here is not to run them on full revs. So interesting comment, what is the reason for this?
@lrdisco200510 ай бұрын
In my experience no machine should be run at more than 80%. If you are running at 100% you are overloading it.
