I have an Original Beeman R-1 in .20 Calibur, purchased when Robert Beeman was still alive and had the Beeman Factory in Huntington Beach, CA. The thing is a beauty, and an absolute beast, and deadly accurate. Not a single flying, climbing, or crawling pest will come near my property. I wouldn't part with it for anything.

Interesting video.. quite a few facts I didn’t know thanks .. I can see you love the German made air rifles like myself . I live in the UK . And Mauser / Diana + BSA in spring power rifles are big sellers in sub 12ft Lbs here .. There used to be a lot of eastern block and Chinese made imports at one time sold in the UK but you don’t often see them anymore.. Not that they are have gone away.. They trade them under old brand names that have gone out of business years ago , giving you the impression that it is a old reliable maker and sold in Europe .. Not that they are really badly made , just the after sales quality if you have a problem is not there sometimes .. quality is sometimes really good... So if you’re on a budget ??

Is there a design difference? The one on this video is HW95 right? I only see R9 with a full length wood stock, meaning covering a couple more inches in front of the last bolt in front close to brech. HW95 shows a bit more at the break barrel and a couple less inches of stock up front. I cant see any other difference.

Did you watch the full video? The HW80 has a 30mm compression chamber and the HW95 has a 26mm compression chamber.

Beeman started with webley before weihrauch in the UK there is still a few about you can take that as fact I have been into airguns for 50 years and I remember them very well

I didn't say that. They are German made and Dr Robert Beeman helped design them. I think that you need to rewatch the whole video and settle down on the attitude.

My Weihrauch 97 in .22 stacks pellet on pellet at 27 yards . Most accurate air rifle i have ever used .
