Hey Gilly. Just binge watched all Projects Down Under! Nice one mate Question, why didn't you do the hatch cover in checker plate or steel? Was going to suggest watching Dangar Marine, (I binge him as well) go figure you already have....whens the next instalment!

G'day Andy, You have the honour of being my 50th subscriber. What a milestone. Thanks so much. A couple of reasons that I didn't go with Checkerplate. The main one is that it didn't cross my mind, secondly it can be super slippery and depending on thickness it can be heavier, thirdly I'm honing all my glassing and timber work skills for when they are needed on Tondelayo, fourth is that I only have an arc welder and my skills aren't great for nice detailed work. I try too get a video out each week but only if I've done something that may be of interest. Thanks again and feel free to share my stuff far and wide. I'm trying to catch up to Denno at Coast Tripz because he's the one that got me into the videos and keeps encouraging me.
