@@09fatbobmike he didn't protest it until after they made that pass. He told Kye on the starting line in the drivers meeting that he wouldn't get any points doing it that way. After, they made the pass was when he protested him.

It’s simple! If it’s in the rule book, they should enforce it. It Shouldnt be the racers responsible to protest. With them running it like that, they basically leaving the door open for anyone to do anything as long as no one protests. Sounds like it’s ran pretty shitty

Exactly my thoughts when watching the episode. It seems that NPK has a pretty good rules package, but NPK leaves it up to the racers to police each other based off of said rules. It was apparent that is the case when Boosted who knew full well that these guys were breaking the rules asked if the racers wanted to protest each other. Any other racing organization would have DQ'd these guys without any racer having to protest. Created the TV drama they were looking for.

What I think is crazy is how in No Prep Kings, it appears that the drivers have to police each other. There seems to be no "ruling body" that knows the rules well and polices the racers. Therefore, the racers have to call someone out for breaking the rules and are treated like the bad guy when in reality, the one breaking the rule should be looked at as a bad guy.

If something is an obvious violation of the rules, why do people have to protest for the rules to be inforced? In my mind a protest is more for a technical rules infraction dealing with chassis, engine combination ect. If rules are not openly being inforced why even have them in the first place?

It shows me what type of person you are when you talk crap about people that sponsored you and helped you out. Then you talk about how everyone needs to "run by the rules" but bird man and Mike weren't near you in the points so you don't care about them, quit lying and just say it was all about the points. WTF: Swanstrom said it was all about the points? Didn't you listen? Why have a rule book if you the rules are optional depending on who you are. NPK its not a amateur series, its a professional series and there's serious prize money, it's up to each competitor to know the rules thats the same in all sports - ignorance is no excuse. If you don't know the rules or think your special and they don't apply to you and you get caught .... Its on you. Also if you throw your toys out of the cot because you get caught it reflects on who you are and that didn't reflect well on Kye, it shows he didn't know the rules. The rules are there so its fair everyone so if you blame someone else because you didn't follow them and have a hissy fit because you get caught and feel you have to blame someone else because you either intentionally or unintentionally fucked up I have no empathy for you. I do not agree that it's the responsibility solely on the competitors to protest to enforce the rules because we see what happens when that occurs especially when it's such a blatant disregard of the rules. Tell me why did no-one else point that out, did no one else read the rule book or was it no one else wanted to take the heat for pointing the rules out? Again if Swanstrom broke the rules why has someone not protested him? I am sure that would have occurred if thats the case. Don't have rules if you are not prepared to enforce them, or you they don't apply them equally to every one.

In the first couple episodes Kye says that he can’t call out a teammate if they are broke. I think that Big Country even put the clip of him saying it on his Facebook. I watched the deal that Wes Buck does and Pat Musi was on the show, Wes Buck pointed out to Pat that Justin told Kye in the drivers meeting that to go ahead and do it and you won’t get points, Pat says something that he didn’t know that Justin told him that and that was the right thing to do.

I want to say I read that he made $40 - $45k per episode. Don't take my word as the gospel but, you can look it up. The info is out there.

He did watch the video over. Plus at the time he test in Orlando he thought it was 100 miles an later on when it was brought up he did read the rules. Its 187 miles from the Orlando track to west palm beach track an yes it was with in the 200 miles an even said he was but not knowing all the rules at that time.
