She does exactly what I still do, even 4 years after passing my licence - she tends to explain or even question what she did every so often. Be a little more confident in yourself, you can do all of that. Just like with that roundabout, the one in front was making a mistake, don't let him throw you off, you were right before. Also with the zebra crossing - of course you stopped, there was a person, don't question it afterwards.

26:05 I was literally just looking this up on the internet approximately 30 minutes ago. Where I live, people frequently turn into the right lane as they are preparing to turn left at an intersection. They don't even do it to make a U-turn. They simply do it. It's so annoying and dangerous. They turn toward incoming cars that are passing by.

If you are talking about the countdown markers on main roads I am thinking generally it depends on what we are doing next. Approaching a roundabout it is different from exiting onto a slip road. The markers count down to where the slip road starts which if you can see a good clear length of slip road ideally going uphill being at 70 mph will be fine at the 0 yards point. Conversely being at 70 mph at the roundabout at the 0 yards point is catastrophic. In each case the MSM will fit in radically differently.

Hi Aman. Hope you see this as wanted to put my experience of being similar to Camille with slip roads. It's great to watch your videos and Richard at Conquer driving as someone who has been driving for over 10 years. However, I still have until recently struggled with speed confidence on slip roads. A tip in Richard's video on slip roads was to always accelerate hard and slow down if needed. I never understood the match your speed to the traffic line when I was learning. Your explanation to Camille was good in terms of the speed limit. One thing I used to worry about was running out of slip road, particularly when it's busy. Not long after I passed my test in 2010/11 I remember I reached the end of the slip road and had to stop. Back then I was very preoccupied with trying to find a gap in the traffic and not knowing how fast a given car was traveling. Another thing that causes confusion is that a slip road is a give way line but what I don't think I ever got was the etiquette for helping someone join by moving over which can be difficult if busy. Equally, I wonder what the safest practise is when multiple cars are joining at a busy time. If one or more cars are ahead of you when going up a slip road is it better to hang back at a safe distance until the car in front has left the slip road/ you can see a gap and then accelerate or match the speed expected and trust the car in front won't need to brake due to traffic actually going a bit slower? I would guess that it depends on the conditions (e.g. too many cars joining in a traffic jam) and better to follow slower if there are a couple of cars ahead of you (or traffic on the motorway/ dual carriageway is obviously moving slower than expected). I tend to go more cautiously in case something unusual happens with a car in front.
@user-mv5zt8qd9l3 ай бұрын
If I join a sliproad with vehicles in front but the main road is free-flowing, especially if I'm behind slower vehicles, I drop back (off gas) immediately as I enter the sliproad so I can build up plenty of space in front. Try not to catch up to them until near the end. If you do it this way, you'll have plenty of "run-up" space to put your foot down a bit to merge in.

An interesting and very pleasant to watch video -- as always! Speaking from the perspective of the road regulations in my country, I always feel it slightly strange that the use of indicators is so optional or conditional in many situations in the UK. Yes, I get the reasons behind it, like, for example, there's little point in indicating when there's clearly no one around, and then, more importantly, that the indicator should mark a significant change of direction, so that to indicate an expected return to your lane is made somewhat undesirable if there's a turn in the same direction which you aren't taking, but somebody might think you are, because of the indicator. However, all those potential misunderstandings can be avoided by indicating only briefly or for a longer time, depending on the situation, and besides, even if you're just changing a lane and not taking an adjacent turn, the path of your car still changes direction and it's very useful, IMO, to confirm to other road users that you're vehicle is not veering of the course without the driver's awareness. I think it's just sensible to indicate always. And especially with fresh drivers: it creates a good habit. It's just like with the blindspot checks: are they always necessary? Well, probably not, because if you're on a very quiet road, you would have probably seen and/or heard an approaching vehicle before it came alongside you. But in many more busy streets cars will be passing you often, so you have to make sure the coast is clear there and then. That's why it's way better to make the blindspot check an obligation and a habit. In my opinion, it's the same thing with the indicators. Sorry for the rant :).

The closer to the wheel you are, the more painful the airbag when it hits you. 😉 If your leg is bent when clutching, you may not have the room to move freely. Personally, I don’t understand how anyone can be so close that their leg is bent to clutch. Then again, I’m short and don’t like being so close anyway. As long as you can reach the accelerator, brake, and can press the clutch to the floor, that’s as close as you want to be.

@keith6400 Жыл бұрын
To reach this sign we have just turned off on a slip road , gone up a slope off a major dual carriageway the A40.. The first exit shown on the sign with a thinner line is (not such a major route) A4180 to Ruislip (a low bridge warning is given), The two vertical lines at the top represent the dual carriageway we were previously on, the A40, the left one is the second exit which we could use to return to our original A40 road (no directional information is given as if we wanted to back on the A40 we would not have left the road earlier). The second vertical line confirms it is a dual carriageway with joining area (not an exit for us). We are entering an elevated roundabout with bridges over the A40 and the exit shown at 3 o'clock, third exit is for the A4180 to Heathrow (aircraft icon) and a series of other locations. This exit is shown thicker as it is the main primary route for the bulk of traffic from where we are.

Is it possible that we can use Google maps as visualizations while driving. It might give the driver more confidence and all can be safe

I love that pattern on you, it's very eye-catching, you always bring creativity and uniqueness to your dress sense, a blend of casual and elegance. Camillie forgets the minors, and goes straight for the serious and dangerous, this lesson was like watching Mad Max .😆

Who was she training with that she doesn't know to use blinker when moving off after 40 hours? 🤔

Has she been driving round car parks for 40 hours ??

My proprioception must have left my body completely because lining up my left knee or shoulder with the center of the lane doesn't work for me.

Bit dangerous coming out on a lorry like that they could have gone into you and then you would have lost a big accident

Switching lanes in front of an Aldi is perfectly fine it’s an Aldi that’s there style of driving

Obviously needs more work on roundabouts and dual carriageways. Her driving on ordinary roads is fine.

Her driving is not bad at all just silly mistakes. If she keeps practicing her lane discipline during roundabouts and dual carriageways she’ll pass

She nearly caused several accidents???? That bit with the truck coming up behind her was genuinely a bit hairy. Aman looked worried
@mythicaldragon2260 Жыл бұрын
@@lovablesnowman Yeah all she has to do is speed up next time… yeah it’s not good at the moment. But it’s mistakes that are easy to fix, just speeding up to 60.

If the drivers that Aman got where perfect, none of learner's watching wouldn't learn anything.

She needs a few more times to try to work out the anxiety for sure 😂😢. Nobody is perfect and if they get more of a chance to pass and more time to practice. It will be good for them with a professional with them

I got frustrated while trying to reverse parallel park at one point and that kinda ruined my entire day. Drive safe everyone and BREATH. Its ok. Just dojt forget to breath.
