Honestly, I'm massively impressed by the improvements Saima has made! I wouldn't have thought something like this was possible. She's pretty much on top of everything any common road situation requires, where in the past she seemed overwhelmed quite often. I'm really sorry for her to get that pedestrian lady there. It kind of seems almost unfair, although, obviously, it's better that something like this happened on a mock test, rather than on a real one. And I do have to say I really didn't like the way that lady with the dog approached the zebra crossing. I know that by law and by reason the bulk of the responsibility must rest on the driver, but how can a person be so reckless, and, let me be brutally frank, _stupid_ , to just parade straight off from the pavement onto the zebra, when part of the crossing is on a roadworks area, covered by fencing and a road sign. Any person with the _minimum_ of common sense would have known that all those objects can make them quite difficult to spot as they enter the crossing. Why not look at the traffic first? Why not wait? It didn't seem like a busy road at all. Can a pedestrian not wait ever? And she's also leading a dog on the leash, which is obviously an added risk, because it might get stressed out and then pull her in an unpredictable direction. How can one barge out on the road under such circumstances?
@aprilsummers64472 жыл бұрын
Honestly, some people are just clueless. Now I myself can be clueless on some areas in life and I'm sure that could be said for anyone. But I am mindful when it comes to using zebra crossings and will do my best to give drivers time to see me and stop for me. Or even wait until they pass before even standing in line with the crossing. To me it's a two-way deal. It's frustrating when pedestrians just step out without a care in the world but it's also frustrating when you give drivers ample time to slow down and stop and they don't. At least the woman said thanks for giving way but it still sucks Saima failed and made more mistakes due to the incident.
@daviemac99252 жыл бұрын
Oh Saima! Brilliant start and then dangerous faults. I've got a wee tip for you, because I think I know what went wrong there. You know when you've read the newspaper, you dump it in the recycling, that's the end you don't give that paper another thought. That's what you need to do with these mistakes, they're over, carry on. At the crossing I saw it coming, there was a roadworks sign, then saw the flashy beacons (I can never remember how to spell it) There was all those barriers, honestly I thought there's going to be somebody concealed amongst all those barriers. I'm rooting for you, I want you to pass. Good Luck you can do this.

This is so so heartwarming to see ... You can see the innocence in the lady and her attempts to overcome the struggle ..I come from the part of the world where we still have ladies in the family who spend a lot of their life bringing up the family and never get outside exposure. ..nothing to do with Saima to be clear but we do have more of such gentle souls who have similar and more struggles and driving would be the least of them ..just never had any exposure of the outside world ...struggle to express and scared to learn bcos of fear of failure.....Kudos to Ladies like Saima who try and learn each day and an awesome mentor like the instructor lady .... Only if life also had instructors like her to hold you , it would have been a different world for so many people.....upfront Apologies if my comment anyone find not right..felt that way so said it..

Hi Saima! Saima has come so far which is great to see, but a test in 10 days? Is she ready? The fault on the crossing is worrying because she wasn't scanning the crossing and just looking straight ahead which can be lethal. I know Saima will pass soon, I just don't know if it will be next test. But fingers crossed, Saima is definitely improving!

10:10 When reversing Saima seems to never use the gas. This would make an uphill reverse difficult to impossible. She uses the clutch and brake alternately to control the speed of the car. This is not a good technique because you lose any idea of why you use the clutch and what it is doing in the manoeuvre. So later when she moves off forwards and uses gas and clutch on an acute angled move off when the car starts to move quicker than she is comfortable with she tries to slow a little by easing the gas not dipping the clutch. Steering speeds up together with heart rate which will be exacerbated on actual test. I have no idea what she would look for when opening the drivers door under these circumstances. What do you look for?
@jon26830320092 жыл бұрын
There were dotted white parking bay lines on the road, are you in them and parallel?
@RyxnPlayzz2 жыл бұрын
Dont learn to use gas.
@Stallzyx2 жыл бұрын
@@RyxnPlayzz It's good to learn that the clutch works as a way to modulate the amount of gas that goes to the wheels, especially with low speed maneuvers. She did an uphill park at the end of the last test and it was a bit painful to watch because the car was struggling a lot. Also at roundabouts, when she's waiting for 20+ seconds, makes sense to have foot ready on gas because you put the handbrake on, rather than just sitting on the brake and missing gaps
@jasonbourne10762 жыл бұрын
13:13 surely the pedestrian could have waited, and it would have been alright, because pedestrians dont blindly cross the road, and they can see a car from atleast 100 meters away. But because you put sudden brakes, you put yourself and the car behind you at risk of accident. Just my opinion, having a driving experience of 12 years.
@isalee52492 жыл бұрын
Asalaam wa alaikum Saima, In Sha Allah Ta Allah you will pass your test, if I can pass my test believe me you can pass your test. Also if my wife can pass lol you definitely can. In the video Clearview Driving instructor VS Driving School TV round 2 on Driving School TV's channel, I noticed something and have a question. When you were checking your blind spot on one occasion, you leant forward and looked in your drivers side, side mirror instead of turning your head. I am aware that both of these actions do the same thing. I was always taught to turn my head when checking the blind spot. Is leaning forward and checking your blind spot in the drivers side, side mirror allowed in a driving test? Or would it count as a fault? I'm just curious, thanks in advance.
@ClearviewDriving2 жыл бұрын
Hey when moving off from stationary I would always turn around and check but while on the go I always lean forward to check the blindspot In the driving test either is fine as long as you’re changing lanes safely You wouldn’t get marked down Hope this helps

To be honest... that zebra crossing was pretty obstructed so I fear that mistake could be made by myself even, an experienced driver, just reminds you to make sure you're constantly scanning because pedestrians don't always check to see if cars have seen them so they stop or slow down for them, a lot of pedestrians just walk onto the road
@mr.kalagh98792 жыл бұрын
Hey just want to double check my test is coming soon. When examiner ask you to do parallel parking and leave 2 car length. Do you actually reverse back that much length? Or some good enough gap is okay so you can move off easily!?? Thank you
@abbiegray90822 жыл бұрын
You don’t need to leave two car lengths, they just ask you to finish within two car lengths. So in other words just make sure you don’t end up too far away from the car in front, hope this helped :)
