I'd read comments from some who say not to put a locking turn in the cleat hitch, since the whole thing can bind up tightly. Otherwise that looks cleaner and more secure. The first full wrap on the OXO could keep some strain off the rest of the hitch, too.

Multiple figure eights makes for nothing but clutter. They do not increase holding.
