Cleetus McFarland’s NASCAR Debut CONFIRMED For 2025 Daytona Speedweeks

I’ve been wondering for years now if he was ever going to give NASCAR a try. Ever since he bought the Freedom Factory and got more into circle track racing. Dude is a hell of a natural wheel man. Picks things up so naturally and so quickly and is damn competitive right off the bat. I mean just look at his few trophy truck races he did a couple years ago. Was immediately competitive and should’ve won that one if not for the mishap on the last jump 😂. This will definitely be a new type of monster for him though as racing in a pack at 200 foot to the floor for hours is a bit different, but based on everything I’ve seen him do so far, I honestly see this going very well for him once he really finds his groove. Only downside for him will be he has so much going on outside of this. He can’t put as much time into this as 99% of the other guys. But his natural ability may be able to make up for that a bit. I could very easily seeing him doing well in ARCA this year, getting a ride in the truck series or xfinity next year, and then maybe getting that shot at Daytona in a cup car in 2027 like his goal is. Obviously he will likely never be full time unless he breaks through with NASCAR and gets permission to post his helmet cam footage. Then he very well may go full time for a few years especially if it goes really well for him. He’ll just be EXTREMELY busy if he does so because in between each race week he’ll still be doing his other regular content stuff. But I see him more taking the route of just wanting to accomplish a few big goal races in this rather than going full time because drag racing and everything else he does is his true bread and butter. And he just won’t have enough time to go full into NASCAR AND continue giving everything else he does the attention he does now. But this isn’t definitely very exciting for him and awesome to see as a long time fan of his channel

This is daytona, and there are at least 10 teams with HEAVY experience ahead of him. Wish Cleetus well, he is running with the big dogs now. He has TONS of money so that will help.

This is an ARCA sanctioned race not NASCAR. Mike wanted to run a NASCAR cup race. Again ARCA is not NASCAR.
