Disruptors are still hot garbage, and it is time to remove them completely. Pain in the ass unit to use, you have to continuously doge or suffer, and because it doesn't have an actual attack, it just walks in and dies.

You're completely right but if we remove or rework the disruptor something will have to fill that void, which is the hard part. Late-game protoss is basically designed around this one toxic unit

@@karlbergman5678 I would honestly just prefer Psionic Storm being as potent as a Disruptor. I never see HTs, only Archons. They added basic attacks to most of the casters that were extremely weak solely to prevent them from running ahead of the army when A-clicked, so I don't see why Disruptors are an exception to this. I get micro-management is a form of skill expression, but SCII is so incredibly fast paced that having a caster unit get ahead of your army for a second too long means you lose the unit.

@@atifarshad7624Protoss player here… HT have an auto attack, and I think it’ll be dangerous if we buff storm. I think we’re better off either reworking the disruptor or buffing the colossus. The main problem is that even if we have reliable splash, marine marauders still demolishes it, especially heavy marauder. While you could mass immortals even a handful of marines will be enough to tank shots from the immortals, hence the important one shot from disruptors. A suggestion could be the old radius should disruptor should do full damage and the new radius does the current PTR amount, or just reduce the dmg further but give more range, faster projectile speed and lower cooldown between attacks with reduced supply. Instead of a lucky shot, you can consistently land weaker shots and chip away at the army and zone the way it was actually intended to be used

Yes, and no. Most of the time bio are stimed, so they always get one shot by Disruptor in a fight. The only time Marauder would not be one shot is when a disruptor is sneaking on them. So it is not as bad as you think.

It feels so bad to watch MaxPax land disruptor hits on Clem only for all five marauders to live, continue pounding the stalkers to mud, and return to full health from medivacs. That disruptor nerf is goddawful to see in play. TvP is garbage tier in the patch, imo. Nerfing both the lynchpin robo units while Colossus are completely gimped against a Terran that has any ability to micro vikings does not spark joy.

I mean, with the increased radius, Clem is atleast getting hit sometimes. Previously, anyone would be lucky to get a couple of Clem's marines with disruptors. But honestly, Disruptors should be kicked from the game and instead give HTs a basic attack to not make them run in front of the army.

I don't like to say obvious things that the Council certainly knows but... the EMP is freaking strong! You clain to nerfed ghost (and several times) but it is only a nerf in TvZ. (Yet you nerfed Ultralisks I don't know why). But ghosts were Not nerfed in TvP wich protoss were already struggling. (And yet you nerfed Disruptors and Tempests). EMP is a 3 in 1 spell. Take out shields, energy, and revell cloacked units. That's absurd. And I think Scan should also have 1 minute global cooldown.

I would suggest buffing feedback range or something, as it seem very difficult to use it on Ghosts, which are way easier to micro - HT blink maybe? Doesn't seem like shadow stride is used very often, in pro games at least, although Z would likely suffer more from something like that, as EMP mostly annoys Z spellcasters rather than killing them outright like feedback.
