I really connected with the portion of the cast where Lowko offers free life coaching and advice. Finding myself CONSTANTLY making mistakes throughout my life, I've often thought "I'm only human, it's okay to make mistakes", or "I can learn from my mistakes, helping me avoid similar mistakes in the future!". Now knowing I've been mistaken with my philosophy on life regarding making mistakes, I've re-directed my inner thoughts and just told them "cut it out, just stop making mistakes to begin with lulz". I never knew it was possible to just "don't make the mistake to begin with" or "just stop making mistakes" and I place the blame squarely on Obama. With absolute certainty, Lowko's advice here is SURELY some of the advice of all time. Upvoted and subscribed for the philosophy and life coaching, but I stay for the vintage gameplay.

Two things that bug me. Why can't Adepts and Collosus shoot up? Collosus are supposed to be as tall as skyscrapers and an imperial At-At can, and it's smaller. Marines can shoot up with machine guns, and the energy weapon of an adept can't. Makes no sense to me...

so that is not actually how ladders work in blizzard games. so maxpax may have a great w/l but in blizzard games ladder is based on how many players are in your group. to give an example outside sc2 of a game that has an identical ladder system...world of warcraft. so back when i played rank 1 was high 2500s in almost every battlegroup...then a trend picked up where everyone was migrating over to battlegroup 9 to the point where it became massively overpopulated compared to every other bg. and naturally because in a blizzard ladder someone always has to go up and they raised the minimum rank the rank 1 went from high 2500s-low 2600s to 3000+ not because they were 500+ better than before but because more players and players having to go up and a higher minimum rank meant that players top end rating was automatically boosted by simply doing the exact same thing that had always been done. with extra accounts being created in other regions as sc2 has gone on in years the ratings of players have naturally gone up since more people are playing and someone always has to go up.

For Protoss to be competitive after making mistakes in early game they need to build some static defence around the map. Cannons are not used much by Protoss professionals but they take much more hit points to kill for the amount they cost. Pushing enemy units into static defence set up around the map and you could warp in units to defend it and potentially split up your enemies army delaying the mistakes Protoss made in the early game. Honestly I would like to see Protoss not have such an all the eggs in one basket approach such as only building army and expanding economically even if they started off poorly. There has got to be a way to have a second chance for Protoss competitively with the low cost and high hit points of their static defence that can be set up with one probe and defended with a little warp-ins nearly anywhere on the map. I would really like to see static defence for Protoss set up to assist with a retreating run-by and flanking. It does not have to be in the middle of the map like Zerg does with their static defence on their creep. But maybe only to assist with saving the cost of Protoss' flanking units on the sides of the map so they can retreat into something rather than be hunted and killed after trying a run-by.

Protoss needs some of its abilities back..or get proper value for the money spent.. stalker damage is crap compared to it's cost.. and their whole early game depends on it..i do remeber that they were buffed for a short while back in the day.. but because of battery overcharge etc they were deemed too OP.. but now that the battery overcharge has been nerfed plus other nerfs.. stalker damage needs to be increased..

Tbh, I hate watching Terran, tvt is more interesting. I don't play sc2 and was terrible when I did but it seems like Terran has all the great game mechanics. By far the most splash units, first and cheapest anti air, widow mines, ghosts, cheapest fastest and highest capacity transport, moving buildings, mules, scans, repairable buildings. For most of these there is no real equivalent in the other races. Still love sc2 compared to other rts, just my 2 cents but I don't like watching Terran, they seem OP
