In todays video we are here to react to the news of 5 players leaving rangers at the end of their contract whilst discussing the only player to be given a new deal as clement looks to revamp the squad and reinvest wages freed up by aging stars to get the team he wants, this is our reaction to the players that have been released this week by rangers this is our thoughts on their rangers careers and if it was the correct decisions..what about you?

Just to act the big shot or have some upper hand over a fellow fan? Here is the reality, as you pointed out, we have a limited window. We are going to need to rebuild our defence and a lot of the team. Clement has to do it. There is no other choice. We obviously hope it works out. It can't be any worse, really, as we have already met absolute failure several times in the league. The only way is up from here. Tav takes £30k per week, Goldson £37k per week, Davies £27k per week. Lundstram was £26k per week as an example. The team who have handed our backside to us, especially in defense is Celtic. They have Maeda on £16k per week he cost £1.6million, O'Riley on £14k per week he cost £1.5 million, Rabbi Matondo cost us £3 million and barely plays. Ridvan cost us £3.4 million with a rising fee of upto nearer £5 million. Goldson cost us £3 million and almost double what Kyogo gets. He has been destroyed by Kyogo several times. Tav has been destroyed by Maeda several times. We have to change or we can pretend everything is alright add a couple of players and be innthe same loser groundhog day yet again. This losing ride is one we all want off. We have to make big changes. No room for sentiment. All we can do is hope that when the season starts we are equipped and come good throughout the season. The issue isn't money. It is how we have been spending it and we should spend and offer less in wages overall. Like it or not Celtic are frugal and they have shown us it works. We play in the Scottish league with not much available cash. We don't need mega bucks to be challengers.

Well balanced and considered opinions as ever, CJ. I sincerely hope that some of the top people at the club watch this channel regularly because you really speak for the ordinary supporters. They need to understand what the club means to us and how switched on they need to be in buying and selling players. It’s not unreasonable to expect at least one player per season to be ready to step up from the Academy and that would also assist with maintaining our Scottish core. More power to your elbow!

When the afore mentioned players “stock was at their highest” we needed them or 55 wouldn’t have happened and we probably would’ve struggled to replace them on our budget.

Reality is though, they should have gone after 55 value was still very high but board didnt want to upset gerrard who left anyway. That cycle was over sell and reinvest in cheaper and younger. And so on so forth. Kent and barasic going for free when they could both have gotten close to 10 million after that season is criminal.

Correct decision but bit sad for Roofe and Jack, they rarely let the team down when playing, neither did McLaughlin to be fair but it is what it is. Good point bout Balogun’s injuries but its unrealistic to bring in an entirely new group of CB if certain other players are leaving, if being key word

Ryan Jack was here 7 seasons and played 159 games by actual mins played (adding up all his mins and dividing by 90), considering we play an average of 55 games a season he played less than 3 full seasons worth of games for us during his time here

Feel bad for Jack. Rangers man and on his day made us much better. I remember when he was nicknamed "Mr Consistent" and people were calling for him to be captain. Injury wrecked his career and he never reached the heights he could have.

I think this happened with Lundstram because of the balance in midfield was off and he would drop in to defence however he jogged a lot when speed was needed! Roofe and that goal was best I have seen too!

Jack never let us down when he played, sad he just couldnt play constantly, same for Roofe. Borna has been a big shitebag for the last two seasons at least ( great in the first couple years though.) Lunny just didnt have the legs we need in the middle. Mclaughlin has just felt like a wage drain, fine for a bit but maybe stopped younger goalies getting the chance. Glad of the players leaving now it time to improve. Oh and CJ you doing a vid on Novos boxing match 😂

Jack is the only one i'm gutted to see leave. Great servant to the club. Top midfielder when 100% fit, which wasn't often towards the end of his time. Roofe, same as Jack, was quality when fit. Halfway-liner in Belgium was brilliant but Lundstrams goal v Leipzig will live with me till the day i die.

Many people, including CJNovo complain that likes of Morelos, Kent, Barisic were not sold earlier. But probably run to Seville would never happen without them. That was "the team like they don't have" (as Goldson said before 2nd leg against Leipzig) who beat Leipzig and Dortmund. If you want to be successful you have to keep vital players. Or perhaps Rangers should be a supermarket?

Seeing transfers failing last minute & releasing 5 players at once might have you feeling a bit stressed & worried about the coming season. I knew the job that needing done was going be a big 1 & i still trust in big phil but i really need to see some positive news to calm my stress. Im hearing its 4 mil for Cortes.
