Hey there! Your playing is awesome although I wouldn't need to say it. I have a question though: I picked Mvt 3 randomly for learning and by now I'm almost done. I play at the same tempo as you because it just feels right, but isn't it marked Allegro? I'm pretty confused now because even @ 168 BPM it sounds a lot slower. Thanks for everything, cheers!

Doubt you still have this question 8 years later but anyone else also wondering, since it's an allegro in 3/8 time, it would be around 100 BPM per dotted quarter, not per eighth note. Hope that helps.

Just to explain, because you aren’t, as I could assume (I beg you pardon if I’m not right and please correct me) a piano player. Memorizing a piece of music takes “only” practice, practice and practice. The brain itself will do the rest of you focus while playing and have a constant practicing. Furthermore, I would like to explain that professional piano players may keep the sheet music 1. Because they play a lot of pieces in many locations and have to learn dozens of pieces a month (keeping up with that only by memory may be hard) 2. Because they prepared themselves for a lot of time and are maybe going to perform in a very important concert and, even if they could play a whole 15 minute solo piede just by memory, they want to have the sheet music ok front of them, in case they have a memory slip or they wanna take a glance at the paper. Often it isn’t needed after all, but having it doesn’t harm anyone

Guys there are some mistakes, the ending part of 2nd movement is incomplete and in the 3rd movement at 4:46 the notes of the right hand are not correct. Other than that this has helped a lot in playing the piece. Thank you!

I remember my teacher playing along with me (he had twin Steiinways in his studio) using a second piano score arranged by Camil Van Hulse. It was an enjoyable way to learn these delightful pieces. I had to have a new one learned each week. We played them all at Week 7 lesson. The Van Hulse arrangements are still available. Would be neat if you could figure a way to play them "together".
