Someone who likes to work over-time on their own Birthday! Thank you for all the games you've showcased so prodigiously. This list is stacked full of stunning titles: Pizel art often looks great but equally often for some reason the simplicity of graphics makes them play great too eg Mago looks like a riot! Or Lakeside with those beautiful vistas... or Sons of Valhalla combining both in simple side-scrolling. Soldiers looks like a fun action platformer too.

I do love Pixel art but I'm glad more devs are opting for 16-32 bit style pixel art in general. The 8 bit style was very much played out IMO. Massive Football fan, at least i was until about the mid 00's, it's just not the same, too much money now, Football Story looks interesting and is long overdue. Puts EA and their terrible story mode in FiFA to shame. The Unliving looks fascinating, Team 17 deserve a lot of credit for supporting such projects - The Escapists, Honey, I Joined A Cult, The Survivalists & Blasphemous were all published by them. Freedom Planet was superb, an amalgam of Sonic & Jazz Jackrabbit .

Good list. Bushiden and Sea of Stars are my most anticipated of the games that were mentioned. One game that I think should also be mentioned is "Moonrider" by Joymasher the developers of Blazing Chrome. It's an Action platformer inspired by the Shinobi series and is one of my most anticipated pixel art titles.

I gave sea of stars a go, i'm not a JRPG fan and have never played one or fond with itss turn based combat mechanic but Sea of Stars really got me hooked for hours playing and give it a chance. Very solid game!
