I’ve always noticed that Cloud gets nervous for a second when Aerith takes praying position. It’s like somewhere in his head, he’s getting glimpses of…THAT moment.

Hands down best side quest in the game imo. What i love about it the most is that *i* am not the one who moved the camera. *cloud is.* further proof cloud loves her despite who the player might prefer

I loved that part of this sidequest when the camera literally pans over to Aerith and locks onto her, and it's not talked about enough. It's showing that these are Cloud's actions and feelings!

I cried so much when I first played this part! The “capture the moment before it passes you by!” The callback to Cloud’s speech after thaaat moment in OG. The rendition of Aerith’s theme. Every Cloud and Aerith scene is precious, but the awareness of their fleeting nature in this one made it all feel real, in the most beautiful and heartbreaking of ways. Ugh! My heaaaart. The writing in this game is truly so, so good. I already loved Clerith so much but this game made me love them and everyone who loves them that much more! Thanks again for these! 🌸🩷

My favourite moment in the entire game is this side quest , I couldn’t get over how cute this was and showcase that Cloud DOES have some feelings for Aerith after he gets his sneaky shots you can hear him give a happy chuckle after like he’s so proud of himself 🥰❤️ Cause at the end of the day no guy is going to take 4 sneak random shots and a selfie with a girl who is just his platonic friend just for kicks …. This is a boy who likes a girl and wants to capture memories of her forever ❤ But I need to know what he wanted to say to her 😭

Their reactions are basically my reactions when doing this side quest 😊 This is probably my favorite side quest involving Cloud and Aerith in Rebirth. It’s subtly hinted first in AC, but now I can see Cloud may be pursuing photography if there’s a happy ending in part 3, and Aerith songwriting while still being a florist. Interestingly, if the players don’t want Cloud to take the four photos of Aerith, Aerith’s dialogue will be different but ultimately she still asks Cloud to take a selfie together lol. So, no matter if the players take the photos or not, they’ll still get the photograph of Cloud and Aerith. I wonder if it’ll have a significant meaning in part 3. 🤔

I often wonder if Cloud not only wanted to tell Aerith that he is very much interested in her but also mention to her that he has that degradation stuff going on too. I recall Tifa never wanted Aerith to know that detail. Great video. Just read, "The Maiden Who Travels the Planet", it would be neat if for a future video you broke down passages in that novel and compared to what happened in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. I noticed some alike things but I'd like your take on it.

This is my favorite side quest. Those moments between Cloud and Aerith are incredibly cute. Cloud's expressions when he has these moments with Aerith are priceless. The game forces you to point the camera at Aerith. It's not a prompt. It's a forced action, meaning Cloud focuses his camera on her because he wants to. If the players decides not to take the picture, it could be read as Cloud chickening out. In the scenario where he does, he's not even shy about it. He seems proud. It's a nice, sweet little way of the game telling you that Cloud wanted to take pictures of Aerith.

what i like the most is how she vrooms out of there and bump into him on the way out lol. the sad thing most players dont realize is in the canon book after FFVII of aerith in the lifestream, she mentions she regrets never taking a picture with cloud,at the end of advent children you see the team in a photo on cloud desk and the flower to represent aerith since he doesnt have one of her. this is what this quest was all about.
