Wow I thought I was the only one who complained about the thumb discomfort-everything else is perfect on the glove, but after 2 rounds, my thumbs start cramping up and I have to take them off. The thumb on these actually feels better to me than the older extra padding model glove. The extra padding model really used to cut the circulation off from my thumb and it hurt quite a bit after a while. I got these gloves in Guadalajara for $2600 pesos while on vacation, about $130 USD

I received the Reyes high precision in black/gold 14oz. Been using the Winning RS training 12oz for bag work and 14oz for sparring. For me the first time to use the Reyes. Here is a quick comparison review: Quality: The winning is superior hands down, feels much more premium overall. The leather with Reyes is very solid and durable which I actually like even slightly more, compared to the Winning's softness. However, the liner inside the glove is where Reyes can’t really compete - the stitching is off and there’re noticeable defects (even exposed foam). Feel a bit messy tbh. Ergo/Comfort: The Reyes hold the hand tight for its size. I’ll say the Reyes 14oz feels in between Winning 12 and 14 (both of which I own) tightness wise. The Reyes feels better on the knuckle and finger area. It inspires you to punch harder… There is one thing the Reyes is leagues ahead of winning - the wrist protection. Feels so great being tightly wrapped and “solidified” in position. The winning is lacking so much here. However, the deal breaker (yes I mean it) is the thumb position, as mentioned in the video. It is way too “out”. Very uncomfortable. And definitely a little break-in cannot fix it. It's positioned so wide out that you’ll be fighting the whole thing trying to make a normal fist with thumb in. The Reyes punches great. The 14oz definitely feel more impact than the winning 12oz, which make me feel like a harder puncher. TBH I love the way Reyes feels. The tightness (for the size) and punching impact is why I bought this particular new model in the first place. But, in the end, not gonna use it. The thumb problem simply breaks the deal. I imagine it will be a serious problem for many too. The Reyes should hot fix the thumb with a V2 - which could be the perfect puncher's glove. I’ll buy again.

Your review is right on. After you did your unboxing video,I ordered a pair. Got mine in gold/black, 14 oz. Great gloves but I’m stilling going through the break in period. I can’t get my hand into the gloves with my boxraw knuckle guard and wraps. Too tight and yes, the thumb is uncomfortable. Hopefully after they loosen up, they will feel better. But good as expected Reyes quality. I would still buy knowing what I know now. Keep up he great reviews.

Bro, I just got these same color in 16oz yesterday and tried them on today. Sadly it is way too tight. I had to take out my winning ng2 guards and grenades that I saw from your videos and it would not fit at all. I even had just hand wraps and it was too tight. My hands are small as I am a 5'6 Filipino lol but it still hurt my hands and thumb. Have to return these. Sad because glove feels great! Still waiting on the primo emblems 16oz in red stock early November of this year. Thank for the indepth review. Just what I needed. Even the thumb stitching is a little bit tight, it’s not a deal breaker for me. I have a black 12 OZ Training Glove for a double end bag to work on my speed and a red 14 OZ Extra Padding for my 135 pounds heavy bag to work on my power punches. This high precision model is a perfect glove that I can place in between the other 2 to add to my collection, I think this will be a perfect all around glove for the heavy bag, double end bag, mitts and sparring because of its absorbing softer foam. I’m going for the black/gold so I have a little bit of every colour. How is the thumb feeling now after 3 months, did you used it regularly? Keep the reviews coming, full support here from Belgium 👍🏽

This headgear weights approximately 15 oz much more similar to the winning in style and weight. I got the gold/black but had to settle for the Velcro because that was only one that was gold. Only thing bad is the interior lining is leather so it won’t collect sweat. Other than that I shaped it to fit my head perfect because it’s aluminum.
